Chevy is probably the best Gr.3 car for races with fuel and tyre wear. I assume no one picked it as they were worried they wouldn't be top 2.

You probably won't qualify with 2.5k (I think about 4k was required last time) but may as well try

They slapped it with a massive nerf in the fuel department.

The penalty system just thoroughly butt****ed my race on the last lap.

Honestly, I'm starting to believe that this is a conspiracy by the globalists hyper intelligent shape shifting reptilians working in Area 51. Someone just had to purposely make this as evil as it is. I see no other explanation. It's just so good at ruining races.

Good way for end partnership with Lexus by finish on 3rd

So I signed up with BMW for the FIA Manufacturer Series and today will be the first time ever that I'm going to partake in those FIA races and I'll be driving the M6. Is anything different then Sport Mode races?

Only qualifying. Also 2 minute warm up plus 10 minutes to qualify (all 20 cars at once).

Just like the real FIA races....Interesting....is there body damage and such?

I think its only if you hit something hard, say like the walls at the bus stop (or 2 connecting chicanes) at the end of Dragom Tail

After a couple of weeks of pretty much everything you can think of breaking/going wrong, I should be back to normal for the next test season.
They really need to allow more drivers per nation in the Nations Cup, otherwise the popularity of the series will deteriorate.

After three FIA races with the Gr.3 McLaren 650S, it can join the Audi R8 in the back corner of my garage. Me and GR.3 mid-engined cars when tire wear is part of the equation continues to not work.

Figured I'd at least put up one video of it in action. Any chance to salvage anything went out the window right after my first pit stop. I had hoped that going full fuel was going to put me well behind traffic so I could run clean laps while everyone else was mired in it. That backfired on me. Wish there was a track map to look at while pitting.

Haven’t entered any fia events for months so hoping to try and get into a few this week, need the practice!

I’m guessing the earlier slots are better? Probably have to go with the 9 or 10pm slots though.

Unless you're competing directly for the championship, any slot will do :D

Agreed which I will not be! But would rather be in a competitive field for experience, not that it matters family duties get in the way of early slots anyway!

They're all competitive, much more so than daily races, some are just more so than others :)

Should be okay then, not doing them all I doubt but try get into a few at least! Probably switch between the two depending which I prefer!

I always do the FIA races if i can, i find the racing is a bit cleaner usually, also most of the time these races are a good chance to gain some S/R in my experience. Try and get some practice in prior if you have time as it can be very helpful especially if there is a choice of cars gives you time to find the one your most comfortable with.

Nations Cup today starts from the grid. I realized after wondering why I am not moving after the countdown and everybody passed me . From 10 to 20 in less then 5 sec.
Was able to get back some spots but then my throttle gots tired and stopped sometimes at 20-30% :grumpy:. I had to lift and press again couple of times to get it back to 100%, that doesn´t make you faster ;)

But anyway Red Bull Junior is fun to drive 👍

Congrats @Tidgney to a flawless pole and win!
