I chose the Lexus for the nations tonight. Got a decent lap in qualifying that put me in 4th (think it was a 1:31.3)
I was on 6th, ~.15s behind you, but IIRC my time was 1:31.8xx. Anyway, I was very happy with that, as I was having trouble going below 1:32 during practice (maybe you thought I'd been sandbagging, I honestly hadn't).

My best lap in the race was even better, 1:31.3xx IIRC.
Safety first got me a 3rd though so quite happy, even if the race was dull.
Did you want me to make it less dull for you on the final laps? Careful what you wish for.

I probably could have gone slightly faster, but I was more than happy with 4th (picked up more FIA points from a race than ever before), so I didn't want to risk ruining our races with a failed overtake attempt. Speaking of which...
Nation was a nightmare really, qualified 8th, 2nd corner the guy in front of me nearly stopped on track, stepped on brake, guy behind tap me onto the guy in front, 10 sec penalty. Recovered but now I'm 9th then 7th because of accident, then come lap 3, in the 3rd corner a guy spin right in front of me, I avoid him, another guy in front spin as well which I manage to avoid but apparently I overtook someone under yellow and my penalty is growing by itself which I only pick after corner 7th, by that time I have 25sec penalty so I go slowly off line, end up 19th.
I'm afraid I might have started at least some of that carnage, sorry.

At the beginning of lap 3, I caught the car in front and went on the inside, then missed the braking point for turn 1. Had to brake much harder than normal to avoid pushing the other car off track. A bunch of cars including you caught us, and one Porsche thought it was a good idea to play bumper cars with the others in the pack through the chicane. Well, he lost that game on the final left-hander, but he caused a lot of collateral damage on the way there. I got away relatively unharmed, surprisingly didn't even get a penalty, despite multiple contacts with other cars.
After that, it was a mostly calm race for me as well. In hindsight, maybe I should have pitted after 7 laps, was following a Renault closely through lap 8. But jumped him in the pit anyway, thanks to the Vette's awesome fuel economy, and came out behind
@Lost Sheltie. On the first couple of laps, I was struggling with what felt like too little grip for fresh tires, so I lost a bit of time on him and the Renault behind. Then I started gaining again, but per above finished 4th, with a smile on my face.
