What Gr.3 car(s) do you think would be recommendable for the next Nations Cup race at Bathurst? And what would you suggest for the brake balance/TCS/ABS for the respective recommendation(s)?
Brake balance depends on how you drive, if you like to finish braking before turning in go with brakes to the front. If you trail brake then go with brakes to the rear. Once you find your best, consistent time in practice, start playing with what level it set at to see if your time improves.
I thought it had to do with where the engine sits in the car. E.g. for an MR or RR car, brake balance is better towards the front since the weight is gonna be shifting there under braking. I can't recall the logic of moving brake power to the rear in FR cars, though - but that's what I also recall hearing...
I just don't understand the North American time slots. 6:00 pm local time being the last slot available for people on the US West Coast is too early.
Yes, it’s truly ridiculous, and I’m a Floridian; I can’t imagine being on the West Coast.the old time slots were much better. not sure why they chose to go back.
We have the same issue here in AustraliaYes, it’s truly sill, and I’m a Floridian, I can’t imagine being on the West Coast.
Plus we only have 3 time slots now, 2 hours apartWe have the same issue here in Australia
Surely they will make the car available for everyone?
If not, I'm not wasting 10m on one car.
I think the slots are great. As ive mentioned earlier I work nights/early mornings midnight starts, so the 8/9/10 pm slots dont work. At least these ones with the 5pm qld start I can have a lash.We have the same issue here in Australia
you have to agree that your schedule is in the minority though...I think the slots are great. As ive mentioned earlier I work nights/early mornings midnight starts, so the 8/9/10 pm slots dont work. At least these ones with the 5pm qld start I can have a lash.
For sure, but there are many super fast people(not me) who dont get to do the fia stuff at all because of their schedule so although 5 is early, why not have a lunch time race as well as the normal 3 if people still want the 8/9/10 slotsyou have to agree that your schedule is in the minority though...
Yeah, I guess I have no chance at making any of these races. I grabbed supper after work and after getting home quickly jumped on the PS4 to get the Wednesday race in and seen that they were all over. I guess if you have any life at all you can't join these races, I guess we all have to become youtube streamers for a living to join the FIA races.
Why have a limit on the amount of races?
I mean C'MON!!!Plus we only have 3 time slots now, 2 hours apart
