Anyone else (I think @Lost Sheltie was also in the same race)?
Handling adjustment for GR2, GR3, GR4
Tyre wear adjusted for GR4 FF cars
Slipstream reduced
Penalty system algorithm adjusted
Fuel consumption rate adjusted for GR2, GR3, GR4
Seems like good newsHold on, what the hell is this???

Will this save the 2020 championship? Is this going to apply to lobbies as well?
This also seems interesting, should put an end to fuel burning laps as well I guess or make it more of a "one shot quali" with horrendous tyre wear multipliersFuel Consumption & Tyre Wear Rate for Qualifying & Final
・It will be possible to set ‘Fuel Consumption’ and ‘Tyre Wear’ rates separately in the Qualifying Time Trials and Finals of the FIA Gran Turismo Championships.
We can only speculate about what has driven this, but I'm betting that youtubers spending a lot more time creating content for other games hasn't had as little impact as some people said it would.Hold on, what the hell is this???

Exiting news indeed. Will be very interested in how stuff is implemented.Hold on, what the hell is this???

For me it was Jaguar and now I won't touch one with a ten foot pole... balanced and easy but really lacking in paceI'll be frank. I regret picking Porsche for the manufacturer series. I been killing it in the Nations Cup but I've been an absolute dog with luck and poor race craft in the Manufacturer Series. I think last night was the final straw for me.
I swear if they nerf my car mid season for the 2nd season in a row I’m gonna be 🤬 pissed!
The Trophy isn't a real Gr 4, that's why. Maybe they will reflect it in this update so the proper Gr 4 Renault will be the Mégane.well reading the link above we can change manufacturers on the 21st of April. If the Renault isn't nerfed I think I might switch to them. Watching both nations and manufacturers (at least GR.4) they seem to be towards the top of the time sheets while having very easy wear. I'd do Toyota but I can't stand driving the Gr.3 Supra. The rear just brakes loose at the last moment of corner exit and it makes me feel uneasy.
So it's basically the British Corvette now?For me it was Jaguar and now I won't touch one with a ten foot pole... balanced and easy but really lacking in pace
I wonder if this means Famine will be able to use their Gr.4 Mazda now? I'm not at all confident in that penalty update at this point. It'll probably penalize you for flashing headlights at someone at this point. Fool me one, shame on you. Fool me 4 times...Exiting news indeed. Will be very interested in how stuff is implemented.

""Handling adjustments for all Gr.2, Gr.3, and Gr.4 cars""
This to me sounds like the introduction of a new racing tyre model.....Michelin influenced no doubt
About setting tyre wear rates, is that going to allow for the choice of scrubbed tyres or sticker tyres, before the start of a race?
Another thing about the tyres, I posted in the livery thread, my new Supra Gr.4 livery got placed on another player's Supra as I watched their Free Practice replay. It had the Pirelli branding on their car. When I checked my replay, the wheels I had were black, but were rendered silver. My car didn't have the tyre branding, but that was an intersting glitch.
Wonder if this update will bring tyre branding as well.
I suspect not, as you'd think that would affect all cars, and also you'd think they'll want to make quite a fuss about it when Michelin's influence on tyre modelling does get incorporated.""Handling adjustments for all Gr.2, Gr.3, and Gr.4 cars""

Thing is, the tyre's sidewall should be black. Not with the branding. When I exited out of Free Practice and checked again, that player used a default livery. If that meant the tyres stay the same no matter what livery, it's weird that my own car doesn't keep the tyre branding. The replay/livery thing has happened for a while if you’re in the same car, You’re Livery always shows up on their car.

Whatever it is I hope it makes them more suited to my driving style. I get my best results in Gr. 1, open-wheelers, and surprisingly Gr. B. My performances in Gr.3 and Gr. 4 races are way too track-dependent and consequently I score noticeably fewer points in the Manufacturers races than I do in Nations cup, especially since all the tracks I like are rarely ever used. I'm not sure if it was the last tire-model update, or if there was a change to the matching algorithm in the Daily Races, but I had a much easier time racing at the front of the field when I first got the game, even after reaching DR A. Now most of the time I'm mid-pack in the Dailies, even though I have an overall win total of over 200. Even if this update doesn't give me my "mojo" back in the Gr.3 and Gr. 4 cars, just making them more fun to drive would make this game way more playable for me.I suspect not, as you'd think that would affect all cars, and also you'd think they'll want to make quite a fuss about it when Michelin's influence on tyre modelling does get incorporated.
