We saw Chevy vs Porsche, raced all Z cars in a Daily Race, pretty much Group C cars at La Sarthe, a road car of choice at SSRX. I at least hope PD be creative with races. Take a chance more often.

Mustang and Corvette at Bathurst(Gr.3)

One make 458 GT3, at any Italian circuit.

One Make Cayman at N24

E-Type vs C2

R8 Gordini vs Mini '65 or Mini '65 vs GT 350

More variety of car match ups.

Manufacturer Round 30

I found out early on in stage 3 that the Ford GT held the record at Tokyo so I had practiced this race in private month or so in advance.... all that practice paid off when my FP time was the 14th fastest in NA @ 1:55.4xx going into the race so i knew i would be on my game.

Entered the first slot with high expectations and managed to botch my qualifying lap and started off 2nd between a couple of Supras. Immediately going into T1 I was ready to make a move for first headed into T2 but I misjudged the cold tires and went way too deep giving up a few positions at the dock yards and a 1 sec penalty for a love tap coming back onto the track. This set me back and made me work for it but I regained 1st after lap 5 and just started to really pull away from the field but my tire management was poor and I had misjudged the gap allowing the Supra who qualified pole back into it going into the final lap with my tires cooked compared to his.

The final lap was intense as I had to go on the defensive with the Supra flashing me at every turn although he never had a real run on me even though I was drifting some corners at this point and I was able to hang on to finish the season in victory lane with 196 points and called it a day one and done.

It was good to see fellow teammates in the lobby @Master Weasel & @TPC_hiortintexas as well as @wedjim in the Corvette.

Had a great finish to my season and I'll try and get a review of how well Ford Performed later on today. Ended up exceeding all of my expectations coming into this.

Was no doubt you would be looking at a podium and likely win at Tokyo, given your prowess in the GT and that blistering time in FP during the week. Congrats on a great season... I remember the 'good old days' when we'd get matched in Dailies and I could almost keep up with you in my Corvette.... :) not a chance now!

I didn't have any prior experience with the X2019 car so I did a lot of practice for this race. The 3-stop was definitely the best for me. I struggled to handle the car on the hard tires, but the mediums weren't too much worse than softs for me. So I settled on a strategy of 9M, 1H (and fuel that would finish the race), 7S, 6S. I qualified 9th and finished 4th, so I was pleased with how this turned out. I used the mediums in the beginning when the cars were still bunched up and banging each other around, while the vast majority of the 13 soft laps at the end were with no traffic.

I was really bummed I had time for only one run... I would have definitely run it on my main account and for sure planned on the extra soft tire stint, after seeing how the race unfolded in my alt account. I thought the X2019 cars were really fun to race in, and the race was not too bad after the first turns. If I had known better to protect on the kink I might have made it out alive and in the top 5, and from there I'd love to have known my chances. But got punted in the kink and again in T1... despite that, was fun to play catch up and race without mistakes while putting in faster laps.

Hoping the 1st Nations Cup round follows the previous Exhibition and Regular seasons and we roll the karts out.

YES! I wish PD had thrown in another karting event at some point in the recent season... they are a fun change of pace and I would like to have had another go at them, after the first week, when I had gotten much better overall and also gotten the handle on the karts after the Round 1 race.

They did the Gr. 4 Cayman one-make at N24 as a daily a long time ago.
I'd like to see a muscle car battle at BMB. They already did a classic Charger one-make as a daily there before. I'd love to see an attempt at recreating a retro NASCAR race from the '60s-'70s.

Hello everyone!

Didn't really participated this season apart from a couple of races, but have been considering joining for next one if time allows.
Got a bunch of questions, if you have the time I will really appreciate your replies!

In no particular order:

1. In manufacturers series there are local and domestic rankings. Do they include users from all manufacturers teams? Or just the one you choose?

It is just your manufacturer.

2. Is there any info if next season will consist of 3 stages as well? I remember the one in the beginning of this year consisted only of 10 races, but I remember it was some kind of a pre-seasonal thing

Next season starts August 26th but no other info has been released. This season was supposed to be 4 stages but there was an issue so PD made Stage 1 an exhibition. The remaining 3 became the main season.

3. If you have to choose between Manu and Nations, what would you choose and why? I know for sure I won't have time for both, and to me it comes down to the following:
Nations - better variety of cars
Manu - you always drive the same cars and hence you are better prepared for the race, but so is everyone else.

I personally prefer Manufacturers because I get to use the same cars over the season. I still do Nations races when the combo interests me.

4. Do you find FIA races more clean than daily races in general? What about lower SR? Was unfairly dropped a coupe of weeks back and don't want to have that feeling of "gotta get back my SR before FIA race ASAP!!!", just drains all the fun for me.

It’s all the same to me, it all depends on who is in the race. I don’t usually see familiar daily race faces in my FIA races and vice-versa. There are a couple of overlappers but it usually 2-3. There are names I remember though for each and I always keep an eye out for them.

For sure. We had the Super Bee and Camaro One Makes at Sardegna.
Change those gear ratios and it's on like popcorn.

Well, my first full season ended and like all of you I had some highs and lows:

Lows: the aggression and dirty driving experienced in a certain period (thankfully that became much less later) making me almost to quit the series and the BoP updates making the Renault RSO from rather to difficult to handle to an absolute bitch of a car.

Highs: the Nation Cup race with the Sirocco, going from 13th to 5th, in a completely clean race without making any mistakes and a win in the Cayman versus Corvette race on my alt account with the number two right behind my back almost all race and keeping it clean the whole time. The feeling that you can actually trust the driver right behind you not to punt you and that you can really race each other was fantastic, and had he won i would have enjoyed it just as much.

Another high for me is finding and joining this community, It has been a big help. I realize now how much I was doing wrong due to lack of info and the advise i got here is amazing. In fact started my alt account so i got to relive a lot of experiences again but this time actually knowing what i was doing. So a big thanks to you all!!!!!!!

I ended the season as i begun, low B/S and think that is pretty much my level, been there a while now.
Ended the season in Manu 4190 or so in EAMA region, first though in my Provence for Renault.

I will end my term with Renault. The Trophy is awesome looking and fantastic in handling, braking, tyres and cornering but the lack of straight line speed can be frustrating. The RSO is just awful to handle.
I am testing several brands at the moment and thinking to go to Dodge or Honda. Think the dodge is better to drive but it is just so ugly......For both working on a livery though, current W.O.P. is below, but still needs a lot of work.
If anyone has advise about any other brand that has good GR3 and Gr 4 cars then please let me know.

Anyway:: thanks again to all and wish all the best for the coming season and offcourse also the best in your personal life.
Currently doing my night shift, still got about 7 hours to go, so can keep thinking how to improve my livery design. 💡

I wake up from a long slumber to say something cheesy here!
I only did the bare minimum of eight races. I do I wish I got to participate in more races, but I'll save that for the 2021 season... provided that the penalty system isn't as idiotic as right now. I was really close to entering a Top 16, so I'm looking forward to make a push for it earlier... you know, not by starting my Nations journey halfway into Stage 2.

And I do want to give you all a huge thanks for the amazing support, both for the races and the guides! :D Some days, it was hard to make the guides, but reading the awesome feedback afterwards made it all worth it.

So...
Yeah. :D

Not sure what I'm going to do now. I just want to mess around and stuff.. Maybe sleep in. Not planning to do Exhibition Series. So.

Time to binge watch all 900+ episodes of One Piece!

I would consider myself a heart eater with an iron stomach, but that sounds like pushing it with the surströmming. A bit too much work. But then again I am the kind of lazy git to eat sauerkraut straight from the jar so who knows. Will have to look it up.

Describing it as eatable doesn't fill me with confidence about it. :yuck:

Right! But really, not much different with fish as the French are with cheese. And boy is stinky cheese great.

But then again I am the kind of lazy git to eat sauerkraut straight from the jar

*look of horror
Couldn’t at least put it in the microwave?

But what if I dont end up eating the whole thing? Then I have to get it onto a plate or something to make it all warm instead of spotty, then having to clean more dishes. Laaaaaaaazzzzzzyyyyyy :D

Heck, this is grown up from when I used to eat pickled beets from the can . And my old pickled spicy sausages that they dont make anymore. Straight from the jar. Or use cheap salted crackers for dipping in salsa rather than go get actual corn chips.

@Redneckchef too bad you’re so far away. We have about 2 dozen pints of pickled beets left from out the garden a year or two ago.

I’ll have to look that fish up. I haven’t came across one I didn’t like but that kind sounds pretty rough.

Those bets sound good. Down here in NZ they dont pickle them. Trying to get some soon to do myself. Just waiting for the price to drop a bit more
