Geneva VGT???

Media has early acess to shoot pics and see the cars beforehand. Many cars are also "leaked" even before, so 99% of what was supposed to be unveiled, already is.
From this show i wish we got the leon cupra(280hp, and sub 8min ring time) 4series gt, 235/235racing , vw gti/r and a45 amg...

The only thing that I would add to this is that the official presentations presumably aren't until when the show opens. And one might guess that any "surprises" we might have coming to GT6 might not be unveiled until the cars are officially unveiled tomorrow. Though that wasn't the case with the Corvette, it was the case with the Toyota. I haven't seen the press but they may ignore the media "leaks" if any official presentation was already pre-planned?

Or we may get nothing. We'll find out soon enough...

Negative... Vehicle presentations are for the press/media so there done before the show opens to the public. Press weeks are for a reason and are always before it opens to the public. Certain types of models are sometimes removed before it opens to the public... I said public too many times... Your right about the last day stuff regarding GT content though. That's the only day they have left if it's being tied into Geneva.

Why 'almost gone' ? Shouldn't the Geneva Motor Show be starting tommorow? At least Wikipedia says so. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geneva_Show Or are the new cars always presented before the Show? (serious question as I don't know it.)

I can post a few pics of the few cars that have started to flood the web from Geneva if you would like however, this isn't the appropriate forum. As for the exact dates I don't have them as well. My comments were figurative and not literal and sometimes that can be lost in translation. I know that with the major auto shows big premiers are sometimes scheduled all week long so possibly there is a chance that we haven't seen all that is to come. I must admit that after seeing most of what America , Europe, and Japan has had to offer already on the web I'm not as confident as others that we will be seeing offerings for VGT this time around. I would love it if we could however, integrate some of the new models displayed like the like the GTR powered Infiniti Q50, Audi TT, and the newly redesigned Ford Focus into the sim in the near future.

(no please, not the 7 day ban, I was only joking about taking over the world :lol:)

Anyway, serious question, does anyone at GTP (you/Jordan etc) know exactly when this something will appear?

I appreciate that you might not be able to say when, but even the knowledge that there is something already planned for a specific time/date would be nice to hear as the post from Jordan last week suggested the timing of "something" was still unsure.

Not necessarily VGT related, but I noticed a pair of GT6 "pods" in this video of the Nismo GT-R at Geneva. I imagine we'll see it sooner or later in GT6, although I have no confirmation it's playable in Geneva.

The manufacturers are the incompetent ones here :P Mercedes-Benz was the only good-hearted one in the range to offer their VGT in time of the game's release.

Hurry up [your preferred VGT manufacturer]!

on a different note, be prepared to be disapointed once again by PD. Seems as if we will either get an unexpected update, or GT5 is gonna get the next one.

I have a weird feeling that PD are waiting till the last day of Geneva to show us what VGT car we're getting.
I really hope it's either Nissan, BMW or Subaru.
 
Well as PD/GT are in a Special Partnership with this VGT concept deal and Geneva is a 10 day event, new models and concepts for latter models are shown to press for reviews and photos, then public for opinions and features.

The VGT thing is different, its the Companies design team going how THEY want not a comity or a panel, its the designers and engineers going mad, so i would display on the final day and let the world go mad with excitement.

Updates on Fridays are always a bad idea... All developers know this for obvious reasons...

They will at least add it to the game today unless it's already in the game and just needs to be enabled.
