Correct me if I’m wrong (I feel I am but I can’t think of an earlier example off the top of my head) but is that the first time Kaz has posted the silhouette-based tweet right before the update but this time showing the cars in a non-silhouette way and before any potential update trailer??

It's a bloody high bar to keep passing but their modelling work just keeps getting better and better.

Think the Urus was the first car they put out where I was proper blown away with how good it looks.
I can’t put my finger on it but there is something “different” about the lighting in that image

It’d have to be the Celica, Impreza and Integrale. However, the Celica was just in the LCD and the Impreza is about to be Sold Out. So, maybe not.

Edit: That would mean the Allure has the six-speed auto. Good stuff?

Given the silhouette post was also rather early, I'm thinking more timezone shenanigans - as he's been in Europe for a month. By usual timing, the trailer is four hours away yet.
May be they try to avoid the mistake made for the last update, when the trailer was visible on the consoles earlier.

Anyway, not the best BX, but a BX still!

This is the discussion thread for an article on GTPlanet:

Gran Turismo 7’s Next Update Coming June 26: Three Cars Confirmed, More Details to Follow

After a slightly earlier than usual pre-update teaser, Gran Turismo series creator Kazunori Yamauchi has revealed the identities of the new cars coming to GT7 and confirmed the date for the update’s arrival...
Is this the specific replica of Delta participating to the Tour de Corse in 1992?
The French flag on the roof could be related to the driver Didier Auriol.

Ps. Shall we dream that the circuit in Corse could arrive?

Mentioned in the article: Auriol drove the #3 at Tour de Corse in '92.

And that's a fact which seems to have escaped this genius who left an abusive comment on Yamauchi's tweet this morning:

It's always the dumbest among us who use this as an insult while revealing their own stupidity.

Edit: His profile is full of some of the most stupid, racist stuff I've ever seen.

Interesting to see not only the Lancia being a Didier Auriol car, but I think its the first time its been modelled with those wheels as well. Don't recall seeing those in its previous appearances.

I once had a ski accident on the Mont Blanc in the late 80. Broke both my legs. Gained consciousness in the back of a Citroen BX ambulance and remember thinking "that's unusual".

Sooooo...... ambulance livery pls.
That would require the raised roof though. But given PDs recent track record with quirky body kit options, I wouldn't even be too surprised if that's available

Citroen BX is very cool. My dad used to have a BX GTI. Can't remember this car ever being included in a videogame before.
Some BX models are background cars, or in one-touch mobile racing games, and the BX 4TC Group B and homologation model is in others, but aside from this I don't think it's been a car you can drive in any game except the one I mention in the article...

... and that was a diesel TZD.

Lmao what a tool. Tbf Twitter comment sections are usually a cesspool of ignorance. Every bit as bad as Facebook‘s.

There's finally a race at Streets of Willow Reverse, the longest track name in the game.

I've been waiting for that - I look forward to it being a Weekly Challenge race to see how awful the kerning ends up being as PD pretend "Willow Springs International Raceway: Streets of Willow Springs Reverse" fits into the little text field for the track on the challenge overview page.

It's silly, I know.
