Have PS5 and it says power pack ( but cannot buy the new cars or this sophy 3) . I got to the ship and no luck and cannot download
Some screenshots may help at this point, as I don't know what you mean from text alone. If you don't have the Power Pack purchased/installed, going to the ship will prompt you to buy/install it and take you directly to the PS Store screen where you buy it.

Alternatively, go here, log in to the account you want to buy it for, and buy it:

(it will be available on any other account on your console so long as that console is set for Console Sharing)

As for "cannot buy the new cars or this sophy 3", you can't buy the new cars or Sophy. The cars are unlocked by progression in the Power Pack (after which you can buy them), and Sophy 3.0 is simply the AI in the Power Pack itself.

The Suzuka endurance just doesn't seem winnable to me post pit glitch update. The AI just get far more laps out their tyres because they take corners slow, then shoot off on the straights. You can't do the same because taking corners fast is the only way to build any kind of lead. Hopefully it gets tweaked in the next update

Spoke too soon

Can't offer much in terms of a strat as it was a bit of everything and a lot of luck regarding weather and AI's tyre choice.
Started climbing up the ladder by using mediums and babying them as best I could for 17 laps before changing. Then in the pits only fill the tank enough for 17 laps to keep it as light as possible for as short a pitstop as possible. Did have to punt Miyazano a few times though. Towards the end I knew softs would get me around 9 laps of AI beating traction which is 18 race minutes give or take, so pitted at 18 remaining minutes and changed to softs with enough fuel for 9-10 laps. Still insanely close, significantly harder than the ring.
Probably do Le Mans next as Spa is one of my favourite tracks so would rather save that for last.

Been away from the power pack last few weeks, thought I would see of it has improved me on dailies(which it has). Easily in top tier of d rank now and able to avoid the maniacs, just a case of upping the speed to be consistently in rank c.
Anyways, came back to power pack with a wake up call..the 5 lap at le mans race had a horrific qualifying came last, finished p11 in race. Moved on to the muscle cars section. Laguna seca first(favourite track.yay!). Qualified p2. Down to p4, crash involving 3 cars on first lap ruined that one. Finished p12.
Back to learning more racecraft, definitely got me back hooked on gt7 and learning has the power pack

Onto the most boring race in the game, 24hr Le Mans. Only an hour in with a 52 second lead as the AI pitted 1 lap later than me when the heavens opened and I raced past them with IM's. Must be the easiest 2 chili endurance race of the 4 as they take corners so slowly especially the last 2 before the start line. Took a lot of tweaking to the RS50 settings to stop violent oscillations but got it to a usable level now. Looks like the usual strat of mediums unless it rains. Got 18ish laps out of a set of mediums before needing to refuel. Rinse and repeat ad nauseam

I found Le Mans to be far more competitive than N24 was. Mostly b/c the Nissan is a dog down the straights compared to everyone else. I don't think I solidified the lead until hour 6-8 and even then it was pretty close until about hour 10 or so when I really started to pull ahead in the overnight rainstorm.

It was dreary that one. I was about 6-8 seconds per lap faster than the AI, they'd just be faster on the straights. If you get ahead by the Porsche curves you will gap them a comical amount. Was really boring by the 2 hour mark, made the last 22 a pain.

Which chili car is the Nissan? The Merc is the 2 chili and it's slower than everyone on the straight but with drafting it can match their speed, up until the first few corners then the AI got left behind.

I'm 3 hours in and already bored. Not to mention the fact that it looks like it's going to rain for most of the race, gigantic storm cloud covering the entire radar currently. I'm hoping Spa is a more fun race and 8 hours is much more manageable

Ugg, I’ve got a black screen of death going on right after winning the Suzuka Endurance race. I was leading the race on the last 2 laps and was able to fend off Myazano in his McLaren on the second to last lap, but he passed me on the long straight of the last lap and I did the “red flag” maneuver to start the race back a couple laps to do it again. Well, the game, for some reason, decided to save with me still in the lead and on the last lap. Problem is, when we resumed the race we crossed the finish line before the countdown began and I “won”. Now the game is stick in this limbo mode where the screen is black and the GT logo in the corner just sits there spinning away.

Needless to say, if it can’t fix itself I’m just going to say I won and not do this again. I’m not going to waste 6 hours of my life again doing this race. The NSX is too far nerfed that you need to play games with the red flag to maintain competitiveness. If the car had as much power as even the other NSX’s in the race, I think it would be doable with out the red flag shenanigans. But when the car is 2 seconds per lap slower than the leaders when on the same tires, it’s just a foregone conclusion that you need to play games to win.

I think the Nissan is the 1 chili car. I picked that over the other two because I like the engine note the best and didn't want to listen to something whine for 24 hours lol

Definitely Le Mans can be a slog if it rains for a long time. ngl I did restart mine a few times when it started to rain in the first 3-5 hours. I figure I can grind that out a few times in order not to get dumped on.

I found Spa to be very frustrating using anything besides the Mercedes, hopefully you have more fun :)

Yeah I did Suzuka with a garage car because I couldn't stand the other options. The Mercedes is OP and the other two are so nerfed they're not really fun. I built my own NSX to compete and went that way.

It appears the tyre model has bugged out a couple of pit stops back. Realised they weren't wearing out. Even after I pitted and swapped for new IMs to see if that would trigger tyre wear but no, you can see how many laps I've done since the last pit so there should be some amount of wear by now. Very strange and not something that has happened before to me.
Such a boring race and the AI has no chance now. I'm hoping I'll built a big enough gap that towards the end of the race I can just park up and let the clock tick over to 24hr then drive over the finish line

To be fair, the track's pretty wet, and the water is no doubt keeping your tires at an optimal temperature.

I did a full tanks worth of laps before which is about 20 and no wear at all. That can't be right as it's been raining just as much for the past few hours and the rear tyres in particular would always wear down to about half

Are you scheduled to complete it before the update?

Current progress. I wonder if the indestructable tyre glitch will still work if I change compound once the wet weather finally passes in a couple of hours. Not that it's much benefit since pit stops are dictated by fuel remaining in this race. I'd imagine if I quit and reload the save it will fix itself, which I'll have to do when the game updates on Thursday. Ungodly boring race, the AI definitely seems to bin it more often than they did at the ring. One of them managed to punt me from behind on the straight and spun himself into the wall lol

Yeah I found the AI wrecked itself often on the Mulsanne straight. I think it's because while the AI cars ARE on different pace scripts (yes it's scripted) when they are around each other on the straight they all want to be on the same racing line so they'll literally bang paint going down the road at 225 mph because they're programmed that way. On the Ring there's not really that opportunity.

That said I did have a race I started there today where 10 through 18 wiped themselves out trying to get 4 wide between flugplatz and adenauer forst which just doesn't work lol

As long as there is water on the road and it is above the first line on the gauge (particularly in braking zones), Inters will last for ages.

Yea you're right. Once the track started drying I finally started seeing some wear. They seem pretty OP tbh. I'm not sure when you'd use wets unless the majority of the track is over 2/3 full on the meter, but that never happened at Sazuka and never happened at Le Mans despite huge dark blue rain clouds on the radar. Maybe some other tracks tend to have more standing water though

Fingers crossed my save progress stays intact post update. Closed the game down with a 4 lap lead on P2 with approx 11 hours of race time remaining. Just have to let it do its thing and check back later today. I read a few posts of people having no issues with their save after an update so it should be fine. Will be interesting to read the patch notes, if there's a physics change I hope that doesn't mess things up

5 hours left at Le Mans. Confirmed game updates don't delete your save.
I'd rank Nurburgring as the best endurance race to 2 chili so far. Beatable but I could never fully relax and doss about as Drumont was never more than half a lap behind. Plus the atmosphere at night was cool.
Suzuka second however the balancing was whack in that race so had to punt some of the AI. Not particularly enjoyable but takes 2nd place for only being 6 hours.
Le Mans dead last for me. Mind numbingly boring with torrential rain for about 9 hours straight. Currently several laps ahead of P2. Resorted to just parking at the side of the track to take a piss and get a drink etc as the delta is huge and I want to do as few laps as possible to win at this point.
I'm hoping I've saved the best for last. After that just need to complete the new circuit races, new CE and a couple of menu books then might get back into racing online

The increased PP limit for the Daytona Bump Draft race, in addition to the physics update made it an even faster experience. The tires last twice as long, and when the right sides wear out, you can slide the car around the corner instead of plowing straight towards the outside wall. It can be done right around the 7 minute mark. I'm still under the old PP limit of 720, so I'm sure there is a faster combination out there. I just wanted to try with my usual Chiron swapped Huracan.

That’s what 1,000,000 in just over half an hour?
