Completely missed my point in regards to the datamine, so good job there. I'm not talking about there beings things IN the datamine that don't materialise. I'm talking about the opposite.

For things to have materialised that are NOT in the datamine, it infers that work has started on them since the data was leaked. Ergo, it's not only pre release content they are drip feeding.

And for your second point, no, nobody said anything of the sort. But I'm sure it was nice for you to project that onto people so you can make yourself feel a bit more superior - I'm sure you needed it.
Babe, I dont have a need to feel superior to anyone. Completely missed my point. I like your oppinion and I like exchanging arguments.

Also, I am not projecting anything on anybody hence the "?" marks. I do wanna know what peoples expectations are, as some disagree with me.

You wanna fight on the internet it seems, I dont. Its pointless, I think. So, are we finished slapping our genitals around?

What are your most realistic hopes for GT7?

My bad if I got your tone wrong, notoriously hard to tell tone on the internet - I thought you were being condescending so I was condescending back. More than happy to discuss things properly.

Realistically I don't see them completely fixing everything there is to fix in the game, they of course never could. I do however think the prospect of a GT League addition somewhere down the line isn't the most unrealistic thing in the world - they pulled it off quick enough for GT Sport and I don't see why they couldn't do it again.

It would be an easy but effective band-aid fix and having it unlock after a few menu books with a line or two from Sarah saying "You can now take to the GT League for the traditional Gran Turismo experience" whilst explaining that you can get more cars/tracks from continuing with the Café solves any progression problems that might stem from it. There's no reason the two systems can't exist in unison.

Truth be told I don't think it would happen, but at the same time I do not understand why they give us so few events in an update. GTS got about 3-5x more events per month than GT7 does, despite how 7 has an SP focus - hence my best guess being something along the lines of them trying to avoid having duplicate events in the Cafe and a possible GT League.

Intentionally not mentioning the fact that these games were all improved soon after launch, are we?

Also, all of the above had an actual roadmap. Communication. PR. Also nonexistent for GT7.

We are six months into this mess.

Thank you for bringing this up again. Datamining is NOT a roadmap. Many times on other games, stuff that has been seen in Datamining never materialized.

So, to get things straight: you guys believe, that after six months of PD refusing to work, this game will suddenly see a patch of ginormous impact? GT7 2.0? Penalties, economics, Balance of performance, lobbies, Café.. All will be solved? You do believe that? A new single player campaign that actually is a single player campaign, six months after launch? And all that without a single word of PR? Just as a surprise?
Man you just don’t get the point, you presenting your own personal views or let’s say claims as facts, when they clearly ain’t.
Just because people ain’t hopping on your train, doesn’t mean that they drive in the opposite direction and be as naive as you suggest, I got no idea what even makes you think that.

And your claim that all these games mentioned got improved „soon“ after launch just isn’t true. If you mean by that, that they realisier patches and new content in this time-frame of 8 months, then yeah that’s true, but the same goes for GT7.
Some of these games still took a lot of time till they released content that was promised to be there from the beginning on. And speaking of Cyberpunk specifically, it took a lot of time till this game, a game for which people paid a lot money, was even in a playable state for a lot of people.

I also think the Menu Book career and GT League should co-exist in GT7. It would certainly bring a lot of new content, but also create a nice harmony between the two modes - for example, maybe a certain GT League event requires a car that you don't have yet, so you complete the corresponding Menu Book to earn said car.

To be honest, I think the Menu Books themselves should be more open-ended - maybe all of them up to a certain championship should be unlocked at once, and you choose what order to complete them in. It would certainly help with the complaints of GT7's career being too on-rails.

PD needs to allow S parts to be purchasable in the Extreme section of Under Steer. I don’t care how expensive they would be. Grinding for credits is infinitesimally better than praying for the RNG to be in your favor.
I have played every single day to at least get the daily workout ticket and the number of S parts that I have gotten (including 6 star part tickets) in almost a year I can count on one hand and none are for cars I use. At this rate, I’ll never get all the S parts in my lifetime.
Purchasable S parts would be a serious upgrade to the quality of the game, not just for me, but for everyone.

This 100%. I would happily pay for engine swaps and special parts,i wouldnt mind if they were expensive or if they rotated them like the ucd.Eventually everbody would have whichever engine they wanted,in my opinion the lucky dip lottery how we get them at present is one of the most ridiculous ideas ive come across in a game.

But then PD will have to come up with something worthwhile to shove into the tickets.
