I spend too much time on
and am therefore also date less.
Finally, a car for us
I spend too much time on
and am therefore also date less.
It certainly feels like it was built to slot in alongside the Rampage, Maverick and Mach Forty that each appear in one of the Power Pack events. Seems it may have been held back from that update and added a few months laterI guess, but I meant more to say I'd rather PD model an "actual" car compared to them designing something to their own specifications. I don't have an issue with restomods, but I prefer them to come from a real-life fabricator instead of the fictional "designed by Gran Turismo" tag.
Like maybe the Camaro they've designed has some relevance/resemblance to some racing series the way the Power Pack cars were, but I'm not knowledgeable enough to say.
No, it's entirely accurate as they were sold as different brands. That's just what the game calls it.
Maybe more like that?I spend too much time on

Bad luck
Just as long as it doesn't drive like this...

AMG is a subsidiary of Mercedes-Benz. They have their own HQ, R&D, production etc.The game lumps them all in Mazda for convenience (also the whole thing lasted about seven years), which does make its approach to AMG really odd.
Really interesting info, thanks for share. No, it's entirely accurate as they were sold as different brands.
Eunos Roadsters were sold by Eunos dealers and wore a Eunos badge:

Autozams were sold by Autozam dealers and wore an Autozam badge. Here's an AZ-3 (which you could also buy as a Presso from Eunos, and in Australia as a Eunos 30X):

An ɛfini RX-7 doesn't wear a Mazda badge, rather an ɛfini one, while the Mazda RX-7 does.

From a purely selfish standpoint, it would have been great to see that car in game, especially since I saw that car in person almost exactly 15 years ago, along with Mark. He just rolled on up to our Friday night meetup of (mostly) Camaros and Firebirds. Super cool guy, awesome car.Just that getting a real tuner like Stielow's Red Devil would give it a bit more......legitimacy, I guess. It's always far more exciting (at least to me) to drive a car in a racing game which has some physical presence in reality.
It has a manual gearboxFirst of all, who would want a Renault like that in Game? Weak engine, too heavy for the power, too tall to corner properly and looks like any other SUV -> totally boring!!
Nevertheless, I'd like to know if the Renault comes with a CVT transmission or a regular gearbox? If it's the CVT, it'll be just as awful as the 2018 Toyota C-HR S or the 2021 Honda CR-V e:HEV.
Okay, then we can hope for engine swap.It has a manual gearbox
Sounds like a whole list of qualities that would make it fun as hell to thrash around the Nürburgring at utterly bonkers speeds. One man's "useless garage filler" is another's treasure.First of all, who would want a Renault like that in Game? Weak engine, too heavy for the power, too tall to corner properly
I can tell you right now, the first car from the update I'm going to try out is the Captur, and if it has good customization I will probably buy 1 or 2 more. Slow and "boring" cars like this (SUV or not) are, at least to me, infinitely more interesting to drive than the same old race car (I have yet to drive the race cars from January, for example...).First of all, who would want a Renault like that in Game? I would too. They are all classics now. Even the ones that were brand spanking new ”cb:s” back in 2 are coveted and collectible today.I don't mind the custom car design but I'm still in the camp that I'd gladly pay money for a slew of 90s crapboxes from GT2.

Not easy to embrace. After all. 1999 feels so…
…recent.
That Camaro actually infuriates meI hate how it looks and I hate how it's a PD original thing instead of something from our reality, so much so I'm more excited to drive the Captur and RX-7
Where's the RM-inspired Trans Am touring car or the 2010 SEMA GT Award-winning Stielow Engineering Red Devil?
I'm very happy they gave us this restomod as it's something you would see at a SEMA show and I'm sure will inspire some cool liveries. Not to mention it's a race inspired Camaro that can be used for many single player and custom races. Personally, I'd much rather have this car rather than Stielow's Camaro which aesthetically isn't much different than the Z/28 we already have. The Red Devil can be easily recreated in GT7, both performance wise and looks. With regards to the new Camaro- in theory, I suppose there's nothing to stop that particular PD tuned version from being created in reality. If you had the necessary know-how and the parts, it probably could be done. Just that getting a real tuner like Stielow's Red Devil would give it a bit more......legitimacy, I guess. It's always far more exciting (at least to me) to drive a car in a racing game which has some physical presence in reality.
Something like this ?Isn't the '91 the first FD model? I'm sure it'll have different customization compared to the '02.
I wish. Other than the Amemiya Porsche lenses, the A-Spec is my favourite FD front clip.Would also be cool if they have the A-Spec bodykit.

Or the SEMA Maverick which is too powerful to recreate 70s race cars even when fully detuned (the Brazilian Mavericks had at most 450hp, the endurance models possibly a max 300hp)Camaro could be fun if it's not 800hp and terrible handling like SEMA cars
Me either, luckily. 😉Great guggamugga! Can't remember the last time I saw a Fuego.
Either my brother or my mother has a pic of my brother sitting in a Fuego, at an old NY Auto Show. Looking through family photos some years back might be one of those times.Me either, luckily. 😉
