Have you heard any rumors why PD/Sony hasn't updated cars & tracks that is eligible for AI Sophy for many weeks? Since there's only a few it shouldn't take that long. Unless PD wants to have Sophy 3.0 on all tracks&cars instead of 2.1?
I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s going to be an interview article with Kaz and/or SONY AI in regards to SOPHY 3.0.

Why? They're already calling what's in the game sophy 3.0 and Sony AI haven't touched it for several years as far as I'm aware, PD are just tacking Sophy racecraft onto their existing AI and rubber banding it ever since it was available in custom races

When people are wondering about this and that with PD, there’s usually a silent interview that pops up with more insight into what Kaz has been doing. I wouldn’t be surprised if such an interview pops up at some point.
Besides, I recall recently(the gtplanet 25th anniversary or preview 2026 video?) Jordan has mentioned he was shown or told about exciting things of what is to come for GT7. Maybe an interview by gtplanet gets posted after whatever PD release to players.

I didn‘t have time to drive the new cars yet but I‘ve been meaning to make a few original rally liveries for the Renault, starting with this one (inspired by the legendary Team Diac Renault 5 Maxi Turbo):

Made two more designs:

A replica livery of Gregg Hansford & Neil Crompton’s RX-7 that won the 1994 Bathurst:

And a fictional Roger Penske / Sunoco livery for the new Camaro, inspired by classic Trans Am and Nascar race cars:

I agree with all the other people, you're doing an amazing job with all those liveries!

Still I never used one of yours. The reason simply is that you always set them to "Cannot be modified". And I just prefer to have my driver number on the liveries I use.
Now I'm aware there's a way around this, but I usually respect the creator and don't do this.

Just thought I let you know, it's maybe something you don't even think about.

FD colors.
Is it just me or does that yellow look horribly washed out compared to how it probably is in the game? I've noticed the same in all my screenshots, yellow always looks desaturated and flat no matter how bright it is on the TV screen.

Happens when I post screen shots. If I could shoot that as a Scape or if we had the actual colours in the Livery Editor, it's look better. On my screen everything looks vibrant. Not so much looking at pics on my phone or pad.

The real one in a garage looks like how the colour looks in the game.

And again washed out, this time in a Scapes shot. My console does the same thing, everything looks fine in the game and even in the screenshot gallery but then on a different device it's a pretty sad showing. I guess my PS5 is fine after all and it's a feature of sorts.

Is it not just a device capture issue, mine look fine?

I'm currently working on my RX-7 A-spec and I'm missing the MazdaSpeed MS-02 wheels that the car had.

At least there are some KMC more or less similar.

Really cool result I have to say!

I know it's hoping for a lot, but if the customisation options in the game gave allows us to give the FD the A-Spec or GT-C look...

Thank you thank you THANK YOU Yamauchi-sama!

I feel like I'm 8 years old all over again!

Aww, you beat me to it. And you always make top–quality work too. I can't describe it, but your liveries always just look so... right.

I made myself a 1993 car with a licence plate to set mine apart from yours a little.

For as much as I love the FD, making liveries for them is a PAIN. There's hardly a straight line on the car. The rear wing and light cluster must've been a nightmare for you too, right?

...right?

I’m about to take my first drive in the FD and I see this. Tsuchiya driving the RX-7 owned by Naomi Nishimoto(the 80 year old woman who gave the car back to Mazda after she retired her drivers licence).

I can't believe someone thought adding an AI generated voiceover is better than having subtitles :odd: funniest part at 13:00

It’s worse on the Best Motoring videos. In the past, the original DVDs I had, BMI used the guy that voiced over the Iron Chef tv show. I didn’t mind it, at least those were cool.
I remember that, at least it didn't take them too long to realize subs are the way to go

This is the discussion thread for an article on GTPlanet:

Gran Turismo 7 Update 1.68 Arrives March 12: Three New Cars and Four New Events

Following a surprise teaser over the weekend we’ve now got a confirmed date for the next Gran Turismo 7 game update — Thursday March 12 — along some more information about its contents...
I’ve been playing GT7 for a while and I feel like the game is missing some iconic naturally aspirated German performance cars, especially from the 2000s–2010s era.

Two cars that would really add something unique:

  • BMW M5 E60 (5.0L V10, high-revving, very different from modern M cars)
  • Audi RS5 B8 (4.2L NA V8, Quattro, one of the last NA Audi performance coupes)

These cars aren’t just about speed — they offer a completely different driving experience compared to modern turbocharged cars already in the game.

GT7 has a strong lineup of race cars and Japanese models, but adding more road-focused performance cars like these would improve variety and realism for players who enjoy street car driving.

Would love to see more cars like these in future updates.

Why did you use AI to tell us your opinion.

I’m really struggling with the Super Formula at CGV. I’m trying Med/Soft. Hitting 1:26 but not enough. Am i just slow?

I don’t recall lap times, but I remember it taking a few goes. I think the 2019 cars are meta and use of overtake button on the back straight is essential.
Edit. I also used Med/Soft.

Yeah I used the 2019 too as the PP was higher but notice the rest of the field are 2023. I’m nearly 20 seconds off in the 3 attempts I’ve done
