GT6 Drift scene, what do you expect?

I don't think we'll see anything more than drift trials. Hopefully, a proper leaderboard such as the one in GT5:P is in.

A proper leader board would be great, drifting doesn't float my boat so I really do not care how they do it so long as it is not required to complete A spec mode or get the driving license.

A drift points system for judging tandem drifts. Events just as in the real D1... *dream*!

  • A proper score system
  • Leaderboards
  • Dedicated drift track(s) - wishful thinking only

I hope they have separate leader boards for players with DS3's, wheels and wheels w/manual clutch;)
That would seem a bit over the top. Really no need for that. If you want to rise up the boards and you feel you can not do it with your controller or wheel setup then it may be time to get a different setup.

Well considering they sponsor D1GP, I'm hoping for some new D1GP cars! and a few D1GP tracks too, like Odaiba and Nikko.
^THIS

a real point system...not this kind of "i drift an FF car handbrake on at 40mph and gets 1st on the leaderboards"...no more please...

some engine swaps for god's sake
and the real good engine sounds that goes with it

I would really like the damages to be better but i would mainly like them to stay: you could choose to repair or not your body, put back the fallen parts/bumpers, or let it rust ( for real) and go with it...a missile editor :dunce::dopey:

A huge empty parking lot, to fool around with or without cones.
yes!

We can also have a cone editor for every track

If i have to say what i really expect from today's news and not what i dream about, i would say the track editor can finally allow us to recreate way better the real tracks we wish !! or mountain roads, touge...very promising!

expecting a lot about that customization too

and of course, from that work with yokohama and KN

D1GP cars to start with, but i would realy happy if they added a few popular drift cars like JZX90's and 100's.

I'm not sure if I remember right, but didn't we have a steering angle adjustment in GT5P?

I believe we did, and i was highly disappointed to not see it in 5. Tired of having to use -80 toe to get some extra steering angle lol.

Yeah, they could bring it back, although I'm not sure if it only worked for pads or independent wether you were using pad or wheel.

It's a little disappointing that I can't adjust my 900° wheel in GT5.

Same here, i have a fanatec GT3-rs and drifting is nearly impossible. Though i don't have an e-brake setup yet.

Hopefully the partnership with Yokohama allows for D1GP graded tires, and KW Automotive tells them to put (as said above) more steering lock into cars.

Also, setup of proper communities without going through the hassle of a very clustered and stupid set of menus would be awesome 👍

I wouldn't mind an engine swap here or there within GT6 as well

Tsuchiya/bestmotoring special event.

Definitely. I would love to have a tsuchiya drift school type of thing and then be able to move to a D1GP special event. They would really have to improve on the AI though so we can tandem with them.
