I read somewere they were given ps+ and xbl fouchers to stop their attacks... But apparently they're still at it, or at least, teir 'damage' isn't fixed yet?

It's Premium Mega upload accounts they were given to stop. (And they did)
However with a reason why it's still down for PSN is once it was announced they stopped everyone expected it to be back up at the time. So everyone was trying to log on at the same time giving the effect of a DDoS again but instead of them it was us.

Reading about this elsewhere, it was quickly established as fake.
Word of advice, never, ever read anything from the Dailymail, it will poison your mind and kill off any brain cells that calculate logic, reasoning and facts. I wouldn't even use it to wrap my fish and chips in or as toilet training for a puppy.
