March DLC

By the time I saw the Clio I thought this was going to be pretty uninspiring, but the Ford wagon is epic, as is the 850. The Corvair should be an interesting handler, too.

2011 Aston Martin V12 Zagato (Villa d’Este)
1971 Ferrari #2 Ferrari Automobili 312 P
2012 Ultima GTR
1969 Chevrolet Nova SS 396
2010 Renault Clio RS
1966 Ford Country Squire
1995 BMW 850CSi
1986 Alfa Romeo GTV-6
2011 Wiesmann GT MF5
1969 Chevrolet Corvair Monza

OK - not a single dislike in that list for me, highlights are the Ultima, the Alfa (of course) and the Clio, but the rest is blinding as well.

Daaaayum that's a good list! I might be getting this one after all.

BMW 850!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That makes my day - I've loved the 8-series since the GT2 days, and am very happy that it's coming back to the virtual world! 👍👍👍👍

And oh yeah, the other nine cars are nice as well...

Ford Country Squire? Shhh... but I think that vehicle will be hellafun....

Only thing that's a little disappointing is the Clio and Wiesmann are little different to what we have already. Compared to FM3, we're getting some cars that offer very little new to the game. I suppose T10 can't please everyone, but a Clio Williams would have been far more worthwhile for the series as a light, 90s hatch for example than one that has roughly two more horsepower and an uglier front end.

Nova and County Squire. I am so rocking that Country Squire online. That is probably my fav. The Corvair and Ferrari I will probably purchase. Four cars in one pack I'll possibly pick up. Usually pick one or two so I am happy.

I know it's not the same car, but I look at the Country Squire and I can see Clark Griswold rocking up holiday road. :) I've always wanted wagons in Forza and they don't come much cooler than ones from that era.

I think of the 'Family Vacation' movie and I think it was named the Family Truckster.

2011 Aston Martin V12 Zagato (Villa d’Este) - OK, not huge on Aston's
1971 Ferrari #2 Ferrari Automobili 312 P - Love old race cars so this is awesome.
2012 Ultima GTR - Awesome car, love that it's finally on a console game outside of PGR.
1969 Chevrolet Nova SS 396 - My uncle has one so this is awesome.
2010 Renault Clio RS - Guessing free car.
1966 Ford Country Squire - Could be a guilty pleasure car
1995 BMW 850CSi - yay
1986 Alfa Romeo GTV-6 - Not a huge 80's Alfa fan, but more Alfa's is always good.
2011 Wiesmann GT MF5 - Meh, not a fan of the one in the game already.
1969 Chevrolet Corvair Monza - Love this car.

8/10 isn't bad at all.

Yes, another nearly identically-performing Aston - but it's the Zagato, and I'm more than okay with that 👍

The Nova, Clio, and Wiesmann aren't incredibly interesting to me, but they have their place. I'll agree with VXR that a Clio Williams would've been a more interesting addition (especially as we're missing a lot of 90's hot hatches), but what can you do. The Alfa makes me think there's hope for the SZ being included yet :D

I thought I was going to cream my jeans when I saw the Country Squire, but then I got the Corvair and I really did. I grew up in the back of the Mercury version of the Country Squire, a pale yellow 1965 Mercury Commuter wagon with a 390 V-8. When I was in high school, one of my best friends owned a red 1960 Corvair 4-door with a slushy 3-speed automatic. He later traded it for a gold 1965 2-door with a floor-shift 4-speed. Both the wagon and the Corvairs were very fun cars and both have a very strong emotional connection for me.

AWESOME:
1966 Ford Country Squire
1969 Chevrolet Corvair Monza

Very good:
2011 Aston Martin V12 Zagato (Villa d’Este)
1971 Ferrari #2 Ferrari Automobili 312 P
1969 Chevrolet Nova SS 396
1995 BMW 850CSi
1986 Alfa Romeo GTV-6
2011 Wiesmann GT MF5

Meh:
2012 Ultima GTR
2010 Renault Clio RS

The Ultima GTR gets a "Meh" from you? Are you... are you on something? :p

My fingers hurt, by the way.

What's the difference between the 2010 Weismann and the 2011? I mean, there must be something new about for T10 to add it to the game...or is it the Cadillac CTS-V which had 4 versions of it in FM3 when all the DLC ones were added.

Anyway, sounds like a lot of people are digging the Corvair and Squire. The Corvair completes the American Rear-Engine collection along side the DeLorean...although, the DeLorean kinda doesn't count as an "American" car. Sure the guy who originally owned the company was American....but the car was designed by the Italians, had a French engine and was built in a factory in Ireland. But, it is cool to see the Corvair in and it's not the top heavy version, either.

So far, both Ford and Alfa Romeo have added at least one car to their lineup with every DLC.

As far as I can tell the 2011 is running quite a different aero package, which is needed having tried the 2010. It will be interesting to see how the stack up back to back.

Apparently it's running the 4.4 bi-turbo that would go on to be modified for use in the new M5.

ultima gtr! the fastest 2WD launching car from the 90's! wonder how it hangs against modern competitions?

the zagato is the racing version they ran on Nurburgring 24hr.

The GTR didn't exist in the 90's, you are thinking of the Ultima Sports.

That's all I was noticing two from the google images. Looks like Weismann added a small wide-body kit and a rear spoiler to the car, so it might be more stable, but other than that...

Yep, old V10 vs new bi-turbo V8 👍

Yes, but it's still very, very similar to the V12 Vantage it's based off of, obviously. Again, not that I'm complaining, as I can't get enough Astons, but it's hardly something new on the same level as, say, the Ultima, Ferrari, or Corvair.

I can't wait to rock that Nova! That wagon is going to g get a thrashing! The Corvair should make a good drag car if we get a decent width for the rear tires.

My back hurts, too. I think I'm hexed.

Actually, my back hurts, too.

To answer your original question, yeah, the Ultima GTR gets a "meh" from me. I'm sure it's the most super splendillyific hyper-super-hypercar ever, but I just don't care. I've got Koenigseggs and Bugattis and Nobles and Paganis and whatnot in my garage, but I hardly ever touch them. I get a lot more fun and satisfaction out of driving a Pinto or a Datsun 510 or a Fiat Abarth 131. That's why I'm excited about the Corvair and Country Squire. They are far more relevant to my interests.

Corvair/Dragstrip=Fun for Jimbo. I am really excited to see what I can do with that thing come the 6th!
