Motorcycles in GT6?

People Keep Saying it’s called "gran turismo the real Driving simulator"

Why not for the next GT include a "TT class" along side the "A & B classes". then call the game "gran turismo the real Racing simulator" Job done.

This way the only way in the game bikes can mix is during Arcade mode, Test sessions and Online racing if users wish.

So u plays the game through your career either managing your drivers or racing cars and bikes separate yourself.

It would be great. PD could do all of the PD things, and Rockstar could work on the cow AI and lasso physics and... I guess the damage engine for the cars.

Oh, so it was a bit of both (ignorance and stupidity) on my part, then!
I never played RDR.

The funny thing about the damage engines is that their approaches are very similar - only the processing budgets of GTA4 and GT5 are very different. In fact, I like that both studios are such seemingly big fans of "systems" in general.

Split them into different modes in the main game and allow online lobbies to either allowed or disallow bikes.

According to wiki that time was done on the 19.1km track layout, not the full 20.6km layout?

Then LMP's would be all you seen online, because LMP's can accelerate (for the most part) faster than cars due to way less quickly. Plus they corner incredible. Fastest guys on LeMans used LMP's, if you where in a nonLMP, the first turn it was over. You never seen a LMP.

Leave them out. If I want to ride LMP's, I will buy into LMP-game-1 or LMP-game-2.

But then suddenly PP and hosts controlling who enters the room. The only way that online racing would turn into bikes would be 1) intentionally bad game design 2) Everyone on Earth suddenly hating cars.

And while you would get bikes games if you wanted bikes, that is not what others would do and there is no reason that they should have to do it to get bikes.

I like cars and bikes. If a game offered racing in both disciplines that is what I would get! I am talking a simulation, not some kiddish arcade racer!

I have a feeling that a poll about adding motorcycles to a (up until now) car racing game, on a primarily car dominated forum would be pretty biased. I doubt it would prove anything, or show anything unexpected. Might be a different story in the rest of the gaming community or a motorcycle racing enthusiast world.

when looking at GT5 i always have a feel that the game was only 50% complete ... even tho i would love to finally have a good motorcycle game i think that PD should focus on making GT6 a 100% complete game before thinking about adding motorcycles .

Hate to tell you but GT will never be a 100% complete game. So why not add bikes and make it more appealing to a broader audience. More revenue = more resources = more fun for everyone!

Why would anyone force you to race one against the other? No one forces you to race a Rally Car against a NASCAR, but why not have the option to do so if you choose.

They already did a proper bike game TT. So why not get rid of some of the other "half-assed" features and add one they have already mastered. Perhaps GT6 will be updated and upgraded to improve most areas of contention, novel idea for a sequel.
