It is certainly not definitive since Sony NA has not officially announced any date but I think JPN PS2 + GT4 will be on order in very near future.

I think retailers like EB are bumping their dates due to the lack of information from SCEA. The longer they delay in announcing a release, the more the retailers are going to worry, and they'll keep bumping back their dates.

I cant believe that game92guy......... what a joke and so ****ing annoying.
No wonder that thread has 20 pages. If you actually extracted the information from the garbage you could probably barely fill up a page. Lobongo seems to be the only voice of reason but it seems hes getting sucked in by the stupidity.
At times like these im proud to be part of GTPlanet not IGN(ore). :D

I'm still pulling for a late February release like say 2/23. If thats what IGN and Gamespot still say, considering they're pretty well known places, I'm sticking with it still. If its late March, well then you might as well put me in a straight jacket now.

Yeah but I don't mean to troll there, just trying to get answers to my questions because I really wanted to believe too.

But yeah I'm guessing March 1st, give or take a week. 2/23 is my 21 bday so I dunno if I want to waste it playing that...

Its been delay after delay. It wasn't THAT bad until Japan got its hands on theirs, and I'm starting to see huge car lists with hp/tw, weight #'s, and cost... Starting to see prize lists and personal reviews of the game. Honestly I'm a bit jealous since we don't even have a solid release date yet...
 
I've been following the IGN thread but meh.

I'd like it to come out before my cruise in Mexico on Feb 18th, if not, thats ok too. :)

That IGN board was outta hand. I think it just go's to show how desperate a lot of people are to get this game, they'l cling to any kind of hope they can find no matter how riduculous.

I'm sticking with Feb 1. It's not likely, but that's what I'm going with. 👍

i think gt4 is gonna piss off alot of gamers which is gonna make them resort 2 other games...i mean dont get me wrong i love gt4 but man they are pissin me off with all these damn delays....originaly is was suppose 2 be out dec end of 2003 which that did not happen and from there on out it was pushed....and pushed...and pushed back....i believe if they came out with a firm realse date every one would be alot happier instead of just being disappointed due 2 delays you know what i mean:D
 
i think everyone should just calm down. sony has given us a release date and its Q1 2005. thats what ive stuck with ever since the delay and thats still what im sticking with. i mean how much longer can it be? japan got theirs its only a matter of time before we get ours. just frickin wait.

:sigh: why are people still posting release dates even though everyone knows there isn't one? I would say a mod should lock this thread but its better to have all the speculation in here rather than in 500 different threads all created by newbs who think they know the release date. I'm done with this thread now.
