PD actually made an announcement?! THEY'RE COMMUNICATING WITH US?!

 Lets hope something happens to blow the dust off GT6, like a couple of new F1s not just one, and a course creator. Its sad to see such an iconic playstation game be produced half done and criticized & flamed to no end.

King. The End. Nothing more to say. Best cool guy in the whole global world. Priceless. Wow just wow. Amazing grace how blind I see. World leader. Master. Doctor Cosmos. Dragon slayer. Ninja. Hockey. Winner. Physically and mentally good.

Masters champion #1.

I hope I'm wrong but I think we're just getting a TT with the Lotus F1 car as reward.

I could see PD adding an event like the Vettel challenge with Interlagos included but looking at GT6s track record somehow I don't think it will happen.

Hooray, they posted something!

On the downside, we get 19 days of pictures and Kaz's mate with a shaky cam documentary before we get some still completely unspecified content. Even though they had pictures of the Lotus up, at no point did they bother to say it would be in.

Still, at least the "release" window is only 12 days long this time.

Ayrton's wish Film was very emotional I have to say, it puts your feet on the ground seing how many people do not even have a chance to start their own education which should be the minimum thing to keep growing and evolving as a human being.

Whatever is a free or paid DLC if part of my money goes to the Ayrton Senna Institute then I think it is worthy.

About the content itself on Senna DLC I think we will get the karting track at Interlagos as part of it.

Lotus F1 looks beautiful by the way.

Now i'm curious on whether the 97T will be a fully or partially tesselated vehicle. I'm leaning towards the former but this being PD, I don't know.

I just hope the won't use the Holy Senna licence for another lame time trial leaderboard only.
Senna was a true race car driver. We need racing content , paint that Lotus in other colors for AI and let us race.

Oh and please, no grandma AI. Nobody gifted anything to Senna in real motorsport. All he achieved was trough hard work, Prost and other guys weren't slow.

So, this is how I see it going.

1) Wait another month
2) Get a boring TT to win the car
3) Scream because you waited a month to get a car you won't be able to do any races in
4) Try really hard to convince yourself PD is not made up of anything but trolls

I don't remember Kaz ever saying the content was going to be released in may, he said the GOAL was to do something around may, he has never confirmed anything or said it WAS going to release it in may.

I'm not defending Polyphony, I'm just saying people are assuming a lot, and people around here should know better.

I think IF they are going to do something related to the Senna content tomorrow or in this month, it's just announce the content, start promoting it, but not release it.

well, what have I said?

not bragging about it, but, man, people around here need to chill.

Great Car,Looking forward to Driving it.

As a request,Please add Adelaide Grand Prix Street Circuit as well!!!!!
It's my home city and it'll be an honour to drive on it because that street circuit is wide, fast and has great overtaking opportunities.

speculation mode

the secret location could be Adelaide

and why Jordan has included a qualifying lap at Adelaide in the news, maybe he knows something that we don't know yet

If they do a boring TT with Senna content I don't need to try really hard to convince myself.

Yay. Happy to see the Senna Lotus Announced. I highly bet the update also contains Zahra track. I also betting they're released their rest of the promised content on June and finally the actual paid DLC on July.

I think they might release Interlagos instead of Zahara. Interlagos would be a bit more relevant to Senna, right?

I am going to get flamed but senna was a total idiot , and that lotus had two drivers in a team so this isn't solely his car but hey , all aboard the senna hype train prepare to be disappointed look how they handled the current world champion vettal challenges , the voice sounded like he was reading from a chalk board in school. I have to put up with a month of how senna was amazing etc only people who really understand formula one can have my opinion , for all you glory supporters go get your senna tshirts on

Notice the name is Team Lotus Special not JPS. will the MP4/4 get a barcode? I'm looking forward to Adelaide (I hope) as a future circuit. Could bring with it V8 Supercars. Nissan Altima gets my vote.

Words cannot express how much fail is to be found in this post...

Well, as long as there are people out there who are easy to please, PD can get away with pretty much anything. How so many people are getting excited by this is beyond me. Perhaps I just don't "get it" as i've always disliked F1.

Yeah but currently PD isn't working on Interlagos yet. Would you like to wait for months to get Interlagos?

I shall quote, "Legends ain't born from mildness"

Not here to change anyone's opinion , if he brings out the positive in some people that's great but as a formula1 fan all my life senna was never relevant to me and never rated as a true "professional" driver he was all instinct and chance and that ultimately taking chances took his life. This kamakaze style of driving worked in the 50's and 60's but people expected and accepted it in the sport at that time. I hope pd handle it well as it means so much to the Brazilian people, for me I don't really care about the senna connection just happy to have a classic lotus f1 car to blast around

Could you explain how some sort of kamakaze style took his life? Also you rating him unprofessional compared to who, or who else did this? In the end I guess it doesn't matter, the comment seems to be made to get a rise or out of not really knowing the history...or both.

Totally wrong. The improving safety in the sport facilitated "kamikaze" driving more as the years went by. Drivers used to talk about not attempting an overtake unless they were certain they could get past cleanly, because they didn't want to send their friends into the trees at 180 mph. Think of the controversy over the Clark / Von Trips accident, for instance.

That says nothing about Senna, or "modern" drivers in general, it's just a different way of competing, and so equally valid. Arguably, that competition is less compromised today than it used to be, but there's something appealing (romantic, even) about the supposedly "gentlemanly" "old ways".
