We ended up getting some snow for Christmas, now the temps have dropped. -8°F at the moment and highs in the single digits for the rest of the week.

Down to single digits, and an alert for dense fog

That it is actually warmer in Barrow Alaska, than Minneapolis Minnesota right now. :banghead:
The South Pole is -9F.

Fargo is -12F.

Although they have us beat by 1 degree with the windchill (-25F and -24F, respectively).

For anyone interested, the GOES-16 satellite that was put into orbit last year is now fully operational and you can access the radar feeds HERE. (USA only) Select your region, then select a radar type. Animated and still images available. Really great high quality stuff. 👍

For the Canucks, most of us live within a hop, skip and a jump from the border and most of us can use one of the northern border links to view our weather.

Is it Wednesday yet?

Actually knock on wood but this summer hasn't been too bad. This is about the worst of it, so far.

I guess it's the warmest and rainiest winter I've experienced.

^ That was on 6th of January.

We got hit by a snow storm last night though. The water got pretty close to the building.

Dropping 60F over a few days is just plain cruel.

Yes, Yes it is.

Well once again, Oh we are expecting a narrow band of up to 7 inches....
Looks outside.
Nothing.
Now expecting less than an inch.

They really need to wait.

The temperature is 0F/-18C.

The wind chill is -26F/-32C.

And here I thought -16 was bad... :ill:

Today was the warmest Jan 11 on record in Toronto (12C). Not entirely remarkable, except that less than a week ago, the coldest Jan 5 was recorded (-23C). Going below -10 again over the weekend.
