Come and visit TB and I. We've got snow and cold. Tomorrow we're hitting a high of 15°. Heat wave!!! (Currently -7° with -24° windchill)

3-6 inches of snow/sleet and .75 inches of ice tomorrow night with 15 to 20 mph winds. They say it's going to knock out the power for a couple of hours. Can't wait. :D

We got 6 inches in Olympia. Blizzaks are worth their weight in gold.

Two or three inches of snow here, and no signs of stopping.

Apparently Burien is the only place in the area that's still waiting on this promised giant snowstorm. I don't think I have ever seen schools canceled for rain before.

BTW I'm moving to Michigan where it actually snows during winter.

We get quite a bit of snow over in Holland. It snowed nonstop for a week and a half after Thanksgiving. I've also heard that the UP gets a fair amount of snow.

I'd trade you places but you live in Ohio and as a Michigan citizen I have to hate your state. We are gearing up for 6-8 between tomorrow night and Friday. Needless to say I'm thrilled that I have to deal with this crap.

I'm only bothered when it is bitterly cold (as it has been), otherwise snow doesn't throw me off the edge too bad. Be thankful you're not getting the lake effect head-on, the local news is saying that we're in for more than a foot tomorrow night (yay!). This makes the prospect of my brother buying a Cherokee much better than I originally anticipated.

*sigh*

The worst part about all of this? I have to be up at 7:30 AM to scrape ice off my windshield. Worst. Thing. EvAR. And people wonder why Mom and I want to move to NorCal...

Been fairly warm here again today, but still not proper summer weather. About 25C today but windy, spoiled what would've been a beautiful day. :(

Our winter storm watch is now a winter storm warning, we are supposed to get anywhere from 4-12 inches (National Weather Service's accuracy). I can barely tolerate 4", if we get a 1' I'll cry. I really really really hate this state and it's weather. Monday it was 50 and raining and now look.

For the life of me though I can't figure out where this storm is coming from, there isn't any indication on the radar.

Two more inches of snow last night, for a grand total of eight! Later today, the clouds are supposed to vamoose, and plunge the temperatures back into the teens and 20's. I'm not sure whose winter this is, but we should probably give it back. By the way, who has 40 degrees and raining right now?

Definitely not me, Kyle. Sunny and -8!

There are rumors that we have another bad storm coming this weekend. My wife is not happy.

I really don’t understand anybody who doesn’t live in southern California or Florida.

Because its gotta be more fun to get a sled for Christmas then a surf board. And putting lights up on a palm tree rather than a pine tree just doesn’t seem right.💡

Its cold wet and windy here. The same as it was yesterday, as it will be tomorrow and the same as it will be next June and last June! Well we did have a tiny bit of ice last week, but only at night. If you want predictable weather, you all know where to come.

It's coming from somewhere in the Four Corners area, apparently. We're supposed to get hit with the same storm tonight. Looking at somehwere between 7-10 inches, depending on where this thing heads and if local news is to be trusted at all. (School tomorrow? Not a definite, for once.)

WOW! This is the most snow I've seen this side of the Cascades! Looks like it snowed an extra three inches last night!

Got another 10 cm here yesterday starting at about 3:30 pm. I spent over three hours outside my house (which is on a nice, fairly steep, 1 km long hill) helping cars out of ditches and directing traffic. It astounded me with the amount of people with no clue how to drive in icy conditions.

Snow is all well and good, but I'm moving on Sunday - I hope the roads are clear-ish by then. I've got a long hill to my house now, and a steep one to the new place. I've armed myself with 15 kilos of sand and a bit of hope. And three people to push.

Tons of new snow in the last 48 hours. Hell, it snowed in Malibu Hills! We had a some flakes fall here, but not enough to make a decent snowball.

Very, very cold here, but it warmed up a lot today. Looks like the blizzard is over.

We got some freezing rain and a winter weather advisory... meanwhile... in Angola where I used to be.. a mess and a winter storm warning.. lovely...

We're in the crosshairs for that big snow storm we're getting in the Mid-West, I believe my area of the state is supposed to get some of the highest rates of snowfall tomorrow. Word is that we're due for two more big storms after this, before Christmas.

Great.

I had always assumed that Michigan storms were so weird that they never really needed purpose, origin or destination...

Oh, and Spokane got 24" in 24 hours earlier. They even canceled finals for it...

My bad. I'll be sure to bring this stuff back to Michigan with me when I go back.

We got a good 6 or 7 inches here today. it is so exciting to get some kind of snowstorm at home. Oh, and just for reference, 1996 still has this storm pretty well beaten.

We're supposed to get another thing coming through here on Sunday and it wouldn't surprise me if there was more to follow that before Christmas.

I was born 1995. I don't really have many memories from then. My long/short term memory had yet to kick in. But, I'm sure I would have been glad to see it.

It was a pretty awesome snow storm. Although having the power out and grandparents with pneumonia and the inability to get out of the driveway caused a few problems.

I remember that snowstorm in 96' We had basically just bought this 4x4 chevy truck so my dad was eager to try it out by sneaking out of the house with me and we went up the steepest hill around. It was about a mile away but he brought cardboard with us so he drove the truck up the hill and we slid down it. Ah, good times, good times.

It's been snowing for the entire day, basically. It stopped here around dark so we couldn't really see if it started snowing again. Yes, I'm sure it was snowing all day because I was stuck outside setting up more Christmas decorations.

Probably about 6" on the ground right now and it's falling hard and fast. Trying to drive to work was a bit eventful. For the life of me I will never understand why Jeep owners are the biggest d-bags in the world when it's snowing. I guess it's a little known fact the four wheel drive isn't going to make you stop any quicker. Pickup drivers are almost as bad, but every single Jeep on the way to work this morning (and there were a lot of them) were being enormous d-bags on the road.

I am pissed. We have maybe...an inch and a half in Tacoma. my girlfriend in Olympia is saying they have 8 inches. 8! We get to see snow maybe once a year and it's going to be wasted on Olympia. All the frustration of being stuck behind the guy who is so scared he won't go above 20mph and not even enough snow to release the anger with. Sucks.

It's December 19th here in Dayton. Fifty-four degrees Fahrenheit. I'm driving with my windows halfway down. But not all the way because everything is still wet after last night and this morning's steady rain that could have--but didn't--result in, like, 6 inches of snow, at least.
