As for some speculation, I think the new Supra road car will come in the February update (given we got the Concept in April after unveiling in March), along with a Supra Beginner event, now that we'll have three generations (which seems to be PD's magic number for these categories).

I also think another Porsche Cup race in the Endurance League is likely, given PD seems to add one endurance race each update, and we got Gr.1 last time and Gr. 3 before that. I also think 2 more Passion of Dr Wankel races in beginner league (it only has 3 currently, and if they haven't given more to FF Challenge by now, it seems unlikely they will, so it's my most likely candidate). Since we got a few older cars last update, I think we'll get two more races in the Nostalgic Car Festival in the Amateur League, and I think two more races in the Group 1 Cup in Professional League. If, and it's a big if, we get another hypercar track day special in the update, then I think we could get an event just for those cars in Professional League as well.

Cars:

A90 Supra Road Car (N300)
Ferrari FXX K (Group X - long shot, but would fill group X, hypercar track day special, and new car to the game)
BMW 507 (N100 - classic sports car)
Plymouth AAR Cuda 340 Six Barrel (N300 - classic American muscle car)
GoPro Rampage 1970 Camaro (N700 - GT Award winner)
LCC Rocket (N300 - English car, returning from GT6)
Lexus IS200 (J) (N200 - Standard to premium)
Mitsubishi HSR-II (N400 - returning from GT6, we always seem to get at least one N400)

Assuming we get the hypercar races, then I think we could get Ascari - after all, the circuit was built for rich people to take their limited edition hyper-track day cars to!
If we got Ascari I hope we get the four short courses that make up the big track that was in GT6

Has Le Mans Bugatti circuit been in any recent GT’s. Seems an obvious variation......although maybe too much work to model as it’s a circuit in itself.

Looking at the update history I'm expecting the following:

Track:
Deep Forest or Trial Mountain, Spa Francorchamps if a real world track is up

Cars:
Ferrari
, I'd say the California or 430, if another classic than it might also be a Daytona, but I think that will be a later update
Porsche, if modern then the Cayman S, if they decide for another classic I'd say the 914, fits perfectly with the Speedster we just got.
Nissan: 370Z Coupe / Roadster
Honda: Civic Type R from the 90's or maybe even a CRX, I think lots of people are missing these crx's

Route X circuit experience: I don't know about that, seems a bit strange to add a circuit experience for that track. PD might just surprise us with a test center located at that track for performance tests of our cars/tunes.

So, here's a question about Dubai Autodrome. Initially, I thought the track was licensed exclusively for Forza Motorsport, but then I saw that it's also in Project Cars 1 and 2. I assume it's in some other racing titles as well. What are the chances of it appearing in GT Sport?

February will be the month where all the Formula 1 monsters will be revealed
So there could be a possibility of PD either adding another F1500 or last year's Mercedes.

I wouldn't bet my money on a new Pebble Beach car. Pretty unlikely to get two in a row.

Since the WRC season just started, I guess that we will either be getting an 'older' (2008!) WRC car, a Lancia Stratos/037 (Sound recording confirmed afaik), or a new model.

My final guess would be a returning track.

Daytona/Daytona 24h.

Cars that I don't believe will return:
- Any outdated racing series that does not meet FIA Gr4/3/2/1/B categories.
- Lotus, Ginetta, Lister or Marcos
- Any fictional "LM Race Car" modelled before Gran Turismo 5
- Race Modified Original Race Cars from GT5 or any other race car, real or fictional, with another car that already has an analogue in GT Sport. Ex: Corvette RM vs C7 Gr.3.

Also I would add 2000s concept cars such as Ford GT Concept, Hyundai HCD6 Concept, Nissan GT-R Concept, Acura DN-X Concept, Volkswagen W12 Nardo Concept, Mazda RX-8 Concept, Mitsubishi i Concept, Pontiac Solstice Coupe Concept, Mazda Kusabi Concept, Toyota RSC Concept, etc.

Maybe premium concept cars such as Infiniti Coupe Concept, Nissan GT-R Proto or Isuzu 4200R could return in the future but not on this update.

What about the Cadillac Cien lol.

Watching the Daytona 24H, the track would suit Sport Mode really well. Gr1/2/3/4, I could see being really fun.

Don't know how much remodelling is required from the two GT6 versions.

Makes too much sense. I predict - never.

I wouldn't be surprised at all to see Daytona or Indianapolis added in the future. Two very iconic tracks that both have road courses and can support two very different styles of racing.

Wonder why PD skipped each of the next in line cars, from both GT Awards winners. If they're going to skip again, maybe we get the PB winning Cunningham Roadster, with Daytona.

I’m going to say possibly a BMW E46 M3.

Because we have two other M3’s in the game, it was in previous GT’s, and it’s been a highly requested car by the GT community from what I’ve seen.

(I don’t know if one of the 150 or so messages on this thread already mentions this car, sorry if it does)

Her we go:

Track: Based in the rumors, the fact that most of the tracks are reworked from GT6 and how PD loves to troll people, I will say: Spa Francorchamps.
Cars: It seems that after the first updates with 50 cars, PD trend is to provide 7 cars, then 8 and then 9 cars, we had 7 cars in December and 8 cars on January, so stats tell us that this update should has 9 cars, these are the cars that I think will come with the update:
1.- Camaro Rampage GoPro (SEMA winner that it is missing)
2.- Toyota Supra 2020 (Given close relatioship between PD and Toyota and the fact that we already received the Racing concept as exclusive)
3.- Chris Forsberg 370Z (We had confirmation on Instagram from Chris by himself that the car was scanned last year at the same time than Fugu Z)
4.- Ferrari 599 (GT6 port)
5.- Lexus LFA Nurburgring Package (GT6 port)
6.- Chevrolet Corvette C6 ZR1 (GT6 Port)
7.- Nissan SKYLINE 2000GT-R (Standard Car upgrade, is an important car in japanese car culture and is a good chance to have it at premium glory)
8.- Volkswagen Scirocco R (One of those unexpected GT6 ports that PD brings every month, also we are lacking VW cars)
9.- Plymouth AAR Cuda 340 Six Barrel (GT6 port)
I like this line up here but next car i think would more likely to return will be some variant of an AE86 either the comic version, standard or both. There is a track on my mind but i think it belongs in wishlist, a NEW track to the series.... Road America.

Then we can have an ///M Power or ///M3 Challenge in GT League.

Daytona seems like a fairly safe bet to return, but I wonder if they'll save it for the return of NASCAR cars.
My brother says that if they add Daytona, they'll do it with NASCARs. I think that seems plausible.

Everyone's joking about the SSRX circuit experience and I'm here thinking "they probably added a track that doesn't need a circuit experience to finally release a track and it's circuit experience in the same update."

A car that might come into this update but is not likely is the 1966 Ferrari 330 P4. It's the 2016 Pebble Beach GT award winner. But I'm a bit confused about this car. We currently have the 1967 330 P4 in the game. The #21 chassis 0858 car. I'm curious why Kaz decided to give a 330 P4 the award when we already have one. Who would pay another 20,000,000cr. for basically the same car? Yes, they're different chassis numbers and they do have their MINOR differences but they're pretty much the same car.

^This is the 2016 GT award winner.

^The P4 we already have in the game.
Also, one thing I noticed about the car in the game is that it's not even supposed to be a spyder.

^This is the real car. 1967 chassis 0858 #21. It's not a spyder yet in GT5, 6, and GT Sport it is? The car in GT Sport is closer to the Pebble Beach winner then the car it's modeled after in real life.
I never thought I'd see the day of 20,000,000cr. duplicates in Gran Turismo.

Why aren’t new tracks released with the circuit experience? They know they’re going to add them.

Also, I could see a special stage X circuit experience being added with a Tomahawk.

I believe they said that although its supposed to be chassis 0858, they actually used a replica to model.

Like to my eye, the car in the game is too perfect and all the lines are very neat and even while the real car isnt as well made (well of course, many replicas fixed the problems the original Ferrari had).

I heard this argument quite often but I'm not sure it's valid. I vaguely remember (correct me about that if I'm wrong) a Kaz interview where he said the classic tracks need to be reworked to be fit for sport mode (for example in terms of curb size).

This is something that doesn't apply to SSRX, I think detailed scenery notwithstanding, the track demanded less work than Grand Valley and the likes would.

My suspicion is that the team working on GTS updates is smaller than before as PD has more resources working on GT7. Therefore I think the next update will not contain entirely new tracks (like my wish, Sebring :(), but a new layout for an existing one where you don't need to model a new environment. I'd say Catalunya National or Le Mans Bugatti which would also cover the "real world track again" pattern.

As for cars, I think we will get one standard car from previous games transformed to premium and 6-8 returning premium cars. Also one racecar that can easily be included into an existing category. I don't think we'll be getting entirely new categories or series like Formula E or TCR, those could be part of GT7.
My prediction for racecar and premium upgrade combined is the MINOLTA Toyota 88C-V Race Car '89 (Gr. 1 obviously (and unfortunately, that goes for all Group C cars)). I won't speculate on returning premium road cars as I'm not that interested in them anyway...
Quoting myself. Prediction stays the same, but no sport mode worthy track. Actually, I think no track at all.

Sad that we are still waiting for a North American or African (Kyalami?) track.

I'm going to put this here:

Maybe not in February, but between January and July I think we could see something related to Pikes Peak in the game. Whether it's the Suzuki Escudo or the all new VW I.D. R or even the full course of Pikes Peak. Who knows.

It would be quite a change from the sub 50 horsepower VWs we've been getting. If they add that, it's pretty good to predict that some of Volkswagen's other EV I.D. cars will come to the game.

I really don't expect either Indianapolis or Daytona since the latest versions of the track PD have are almost ten years outdated. Indy has a different road course now (?) and I know for a fact Daytona has the new front and back stretch seating that would require a remodel.

Expect to see 90's Japanese Standard cars upgraded, quite a few have been added so far.

Maybe not in the next update but after since we got the Integra.
Most likely. But I don't think it's certain that it would be a Japanese car. I think PD is adding the most popular standard cars from GT6. Most of them happen to be 1990s Japanese cars just because the majority of standard cars were. But we've gotten cars such as the E-Type Jag which was a very highly requested standard to premium conversion and was popular in online racing.

Yeah, there's yet dozens I want upgraded! :D

GTO 3000GT and AE86 seem very likely?
