What age did you lose your virginity?

I've thought about keeping my virginity until marriage before. But the brainstorm ended when I tried to answer the question "Is there a logical reason to abstain from sex until marriage?" I couldn't come up with an answer. Mainly because I've never seen a pair of lions wait until they got legally married on the Discovery Channel.

Though I've yet to have my chance, I think it's best to have sex before you marry. I wouldn't suggest searching furiously and specifically for sex, but just take it as it comes. Sex is a very important part of life in general--we are animals who must advance the species, after all--and therefore we should do what we can to find the perfect mate since the law may bind us with them for the rest of our lives.

So guys, since we're animals and all life is about is keeping Homosapiens on the earth, have at it!

Well I'm not talking solely about sex, just activities of a sexual nature in general, which may include sex.

I totally agree. Funny you should mention that actually, as I'm about to go deal with a friend who settled, and then directly afterward deal with another who is in the process of settling.

Definitely - that can only lead to unhappiness down the line. Society puts such a high value on marriage, particularly for women, that settling happens way too often.

Having sex is what our main purpose in life is. Okay, maybe having sex for entertainment isn't, but still - what is there to regret?

There's no unfortunately about that. I was 21 when I got married and that night was my first time. Closing in on 10 years later, much like Duke, it's all still good.

Nice to see guys like you are still around, and not a bunch of horn dogs. IMO, though, sex is a bit overrated. Not saying this to put anyone on the defense, but I think it's wildly blown out of proportion by teens who've never had any to begin with, or have only done it once or twice. For me, I can't do that. I don't like talking about what we did or how we did it with anyone except my partner.
