Wagyu(-sired) beef picanha. This is my first time cooking roastie potatoes which didn't come out of a packet so I hope they turn out okay.

[EDIT] They turned out super crispy but still soft and fluffy inside. Guess parboiling them the previous day worked out.

This was at the back of the drinks cabinet where I found the XO earlier. It's nice and smooooth.

Nice, is that an older bottle? I‘ve had Glenlivet 12 before but they must have changed the bottle design since in my case it was turquoise iirc.

Like you said, it‘s a very smooth and light Speyside Malt. I found its taste relatively sweet and floral with a pronounced oak finish.

I think my parents bought it in duty free in Singapore in the eighties or nineties. They don't need it any more so I found it a good home.

I'm fixing to eat some more pancakes and bacon strips from Golden Corral, we had it delivered from Doordash. My mom is eating pancakes, 2 bananas and some bacon too. We have to save room for lunch and dinner if we can. Hope everyone had a safe Halloween this year/ 2025.

I known we talked about this. If you're short on money, Doordash is on the naughty list. So is eating out.

Supper last night, Irish stew from a bag.

Cool. I cook as much as I can, but when we have doctor appointments and important things to do, we have to eat out because we don't have time to wash dishes. Thank you for the advice though. Did you have a good Halloween this weekend?
