What is the best car ever in Gran Turismo?

TVR Cerbera LM Edition from GT1

I've played GT1 to GT6 and I can say Deltawing for its uniqueness in handling and race strategy. Its not your typical race car, its not perfect but imperfection makes something interesting and beautiful.

Personally I have been partial to these in GT 4-6

Amuse S2000 R1
Shelby Series 1
Mercedes CLK GTR
RX7 LM RC

Ford GT SpecII LM RC

And of all the LMPs I think I like the Audi R8 the best, great all around race car there.

I think I was maybe 12 or 13 years olds when i complete the challenge at Nurburgring, and since that, the nurburgring and the mercedes 190 become one of my favorite cars. Thats why I drive one everyday xD

Right now, in GT6, I have to say the Lotus 97T. But since GT3, when my Gran Turismo experience started, my overall favorite car has been the Mazda 787B.

GT2 - GT-One (Road or Race, it doesn't matter)
GT3 - ... not much interesting cars there.
GT4 - 787B. the GT-One is unstable at high speed and the 787B is less hungry on fuel and tyre.
GT5 & GT6 - No idea. I don't have both. Not even a PS3

I'm enjoying this thread quite a bit. So many great memories. I'd almost forgotten a lot of these (the R30 Silhouette especially comes to mind). I remember the GTO Twin Turbo being a go-to car for me in a lot of racing series.

That made me think of what a beast the Mitsubishi Eclipse used to be in the FF series of the early GT's. Almost felt like cheating.
