What is the best car ever in Gran Turismo?

For me, the best all-time car in any GT has to be the Vector W8 from GT2. I honestly don't really have a favorite here in GT6 yet since I haven't played it enough (despite platinum trophy minus the Senna trophies).

No, the FTO's and FF car, my sworn enemies. And the FTO has fifty billion variants, unlike the best car in the universe which only needs two.

Consistently for me, the best car has been the Suzuki Escudo Pikes Peaks throughout all the games it's been in. BUT.... And purely because on GT5 in B-Spec I raced it at Le Mans, and after spending much of the 24-hours glued to my screen thinking it could never do it and managing my B-Spec team like a crazed axe murderer... The Mazda Furai '08.

I didn't buy the Escude in Gt6, yet. Maybe today I lose my mind and go to the suzuki dealer xD

I haven't had enough credits in a while to buy it, but I used it at my friends house. It's still as beautiful and as much as a monster as it was in previous GTs. Without B-Spec, getting money takes a long time.

Do the Standart red bull Challenge, 20 min, 2 millions
 
McLaren F1 is best road car, is best real car up to 650pp and is nicely modelled.

With B-Spec i'd start the race, change the input and play my xbox. It was super easy lol. I'd reach 20mil in a night. I love the Red Bull in B-Spec however because it doesn't loose and it finishes every race super fast.

That's crazy. I hope you got the slim! GT5 is a really well made game in my opinion. The 24hour endurance races were hell without B-Spec. It's the only thing holding me from 100% game complete(I didn't do the A-Spec endurance's).

I bought the "super slim" 500 GB xD
I have my gt3 and gt4 completed at 100% in ps2 and the gt1 and gt2 in the playstation emulator on pc.
But now, with the servers closed in gt5, maybe i dont buy it

I'm not much of an online player Gran Turismo wise so I couldn't help you on that, but the career mode or whatever you want to call it is super fun. The only thing you need online for is the Formula Gran Turismo from the online dealership. There is a mod tool to get any car if you needed. :)
 
Is there a way to sort by miles like I think you used to be able to do? I'm not near my ps3 right now but once I get to 100% and just drive for fun, I'm guessing I'll be logging the most miles in the one77, f40, and Senna lotus. I'm also generally biased to most Nissans.
 
Maybe I missed it, but it doesn't look like anybody mentioned the Yellowbird; kind of surprising.

I always liked the Jaguar XJ220 road car for some reason. It's not exactly a killer on the track, but there was always something about the way it handled and how it looked that I really enjoyed.

I like the YellowBird, but its a really pain to drive :x
And the XJ its really cool, the only problem is the size hahaha
 
Old GT -
The Del Sol LM was great - Mid engine fantasy car.
Used to have loads of head to head races against the FTO LM (Girls car - 4WD)

GT2 -
I liked the Tom's Angel... tiny little speedy.

GT3 (Did not get)

GT4 - RX7-LM - Just a nice car

GT5 - Gillet Vertigo or the TVR Speed 12 - Too much power so little weight. Always just a gear change away from a crash

I just remember another car that I love to drive in every gran turismo, the ford gt 40. The road version on Gt3 its something very unique to drive :)
 
Performance wise, I'd say the Nissan Skyline r34 takes the cake.
 
It's between the TS020, Escudo, Renault Espace F1, R30 Silhouette, F094/S, and the Lotus 97T. The R30 and Escudo stick out the most for me though.
