At some point you have to stop being a gamer and start being a consumer. People like you are the reason larger companies tend to 🤬 on the little guy, because there is always some clueless person willing to give them money no matter how bad the service is.

It's just a small delay wtf. It's not like they just released game that is all sorts of buggy. Then your rant would be correct.

Was the date not confirmed? (If not I will sit down and stfu)

If you let me borrow $100 and I told you I was, for sure, going to pay you back next Tuesday. Tuesday rolls around and now I'm sayin I'll have it Thursday. Thursday comes, I say Monday. What kind of person does that make me?

I know PD doesnt owe me anything, but its the principle. his is just bad business.

I'm not throwing shots at you, btw. I work for a major bank and listen to people complain all day about poor service(which they are right most of the time) only to continue to give to do business with us. I want to ask them why we would change anything we're doing if you're still going to give us money?

Maybe because one little problem surrounded by good outcomes isn't really a justifiable reason to not do business with someone?

For instance one time I went to a local restaurant and the food wasn't as good as it normally was, however based on the fact I've been there a few times prior and the food was great I knew that it was probably just a bad meal. Sure enough next time I went there the food was once again good.

I don't see why I'd decide to not buy a game if the creators decided to put more work into it. Granted I was really pissed off when I heard the News, but you know what? It gives me time to enjoy games like F1 2010 and Halo Reach.

If your a true car lover fan, I'm sure you'll find the patience again.

If they delay it one more time though.....:<

I forgot about DLC. That's going to be annoying. Some new car will come out and they'll charge like $5 for it.

Funny thing is this might actually make up my mind not to get the game until an even later date. I was thinking about off loading my PS3 to purchase a spare computer so my cousin can enjoy our lan events with us. So I guess for once a post actually has some relevance! So I guess if anyone is actually looking for someone that actually is affected by the new "unknown" realese date and not just because they upset about waiting long for it I guess thats me. Plans are to pick up maybe a used PS3, which is only going to get used for GT5 anyways, and GT5 in the future when everything is a little cheaper.

Honestly I have patients. I was upset that the game was delayed because I was anticipating it but I usually always buy my games 1-2 years after the release date unless it's something I really like ala GT5 or a Final Fantasy or something.

I just now got Dirt 2, 2 weeks ago. So I'm upset but okay, I honestly still play the PSP gran Turismo and GTP anyway.

I'll buy some Musle Juice first, then I'll buy GT5 lol.
It was going to be GT5 then Muscle Juice, but now the plans have changed.
Now I have more time for FIFA 11.

Hell, I bought Forza 3 because I knew GT5 was far away. So obviously I'll buy GT5 whenever they release it. That does not mean that I like the delay but what can I do. Just continue working and wait till it comes out.

What a load of twaddle. Being a consumer? This isn't about the "little guy" its a simple fact that everyone is going to buy this game regardless of delays. You know why? Because release dates are entirely irrelevant when it comes to the decision of purchase, only the specific dates (obviously Christmas creates more sales whereas January tends to lose out) affect that.

Its not poor service, they provide no service to you. They provide a product. They have no requirement to release it when you like nor do they have to meet their promises. Sure, they would prefer to meet their promises because it otherwise generates negative opinions but they are not tied to meeting them like a service is.

I'm actually starting to like the delay, why? because it seems to be hitting the pre-orders of the overpriced signature edition with people canceling orders for this particular version. (probably due to having time to think about its price and contents) maybe it will get a price drop when it actually gets released.

After the game is released no one will care whether or not the game was pushed back multiple times, and no on will remember the game on the grounds that it was delayed a lot. They will remember the game if it was good.

Lets face it, anyone who cares enough about the delay to post here cares enough about the game to at least buy it. Emotions are still running high, especially considering the relative unknown state of the release date. People want a way to express their disgust with this latest revelation, but im pretty sure at least 99% of people posted here will get the game.:dopey:

Are you kidding? we waited 6 years and we can't wait 2 months?
I will buy this piece of art, for sure.

Regarding the guys who said no, I would be really curious to see if they are going to hold their position. It's easy now to say no! just because you are angry...
Believe me or not you'll buy it. If not you are not Gran Turismo fans and there's nothing wrong with it.

everybody will buy this game when it is released (me in 1 place), we all are pissed off with the delay and it is normal that most of the fans are saying about "not" buying. just hope it will finally be released and we can live happily ever after :)

I have had my PS3 since April so I dont care if it takes 5 more years I still plan on at least renting this game but I am pretty sure I will buy it. Especially since I still dont have any PS3 games. Even though I still feel ripped off only getting 20% of a completed game. The 20% really kills this game for me.
Since this probably wont be out for a while I am thinking about picking up GT5 prologue off of craigslist for $10.00. However I still have plenty of other racing games that I love and have no problem waiting for GT5. Its not like its the only racing game out there. lol

Just a point what mixed up nut case joins a forum about called GTplanet which is about Gran turismo news and a like of the GT series then doesn't buy it.

Surely thats like me joining the we love mcdonalds fan club in spite of the fact I'm vegetarian and hate mcdonalds.
