Decided that I probably won't get it, maybe a few years down the line.

Not because of the delay, those I expected.
I just realized that I dont enjoy racing games without a racing wheel and I'm not prepared to spend $300+ on a wheel and game combined.
Plus racing wheels are . . . really embarrassing.

You shouldn't worry so much about what other people think. You're really missing out.
 
Are you kidding me?!Sure I''m getting the game(Signature edition Day one).I admit be very angry right now, but I can wait more 3-4 weeks at all.
 
People who are refusing to get the game because of the delays are like when 7 year olds threaten to "leave the house forever"; they sit on the front garden for 3 minutes and come rushing back in.
 
Hmm...Not sure if I want GT5 anymore.
I might Pre-order another game instead.
And I have 2 options for a new game, witch
are ether Assassin's Creed brotherhood, or Call of Duty: Black Ops.
What ones do you think I should get?

Obviously, I don't know exactly what's going on with PD and Sony but from the all the news I've read today, I believe that Kaz and his team genuinely didn't mean for this delay to happen. I know it's frustrating for everyone and some of us feel cheated but we have to understand that Kaz isn't like other game developers. He's a perfectionist and some would say that's his fault. I would say otherwise. I think the delay was caused because Kaz doesn't want to let go of GT5. He wanted to keep going and squeezing in as many tiny tweaks as he could before being forced to go gold by Sony. The trouble is, he went a little too far and he knew it.

Kaz loves Gran Turismo more than you and I ever will. He has put his life into it and has tried to make the one fantasy we all have become as real as he can make it. I've never known or read about any other game developer with this much passion and it's for this reason why I'm supporting him and purchasing the game whenever it comes out.

First thing you learn when producing a product is to be able to separate yourself from it and treat it as a product, otherwise you'll never finish.

I think it's silly for anyone to boycott PD or Sony because of this. Sure, it's upsetting, but to change your plans to make a purchase of a video games due to a delay is taking things a bit too seriously.

some guys said 2020 or 2012 or Q4 next year ... If i steal a lollipop from my 6 years old sister she reacts better then some guys here

Think you meant "having the last laugh" which I will grant you wholeheartedly if indeed true but it's a bit too soon to claim that now is it?
For all we know the game could possibly come out early next year as no new release date has been mentioned and even if it were, they've proven it can't be taken without a huge grain of salt.

In Dutch we have a saying which goes like this; 'verkoop de huid niet voordat de beer geschoten is' which roughly translates as 'don't sell the skin before the bear has been shot' meaning in this context that you'll have to be sure a 100% that you're right before you can claim to have the last laugh.

Yes I'm disappointed about the delay but these things happen and no amount of crying and moaning or even threats of cancelling pre-orders will change it. Some people need to get a grip.

So you went from a 2-4 week delay to christmas time release in the same sentence? Or am I just having a hard time understanding you?

If you are not even a little disappointed about GT5 being delayed, you're probably on the wrong website. We all like this playing Gran turismo, not waiting to play Gran turismo.
 
I was about to pre-order GT5, but there is no way I'm buying it now...

I didn't vote but I will not get the game on day 1. For me it's simple, I didn't pre-order BLACK OPS because GT5 was coming out first. I would wait and pick up black ops a couple of months later because ONLINE would still be pretty much alive til may/june 2011. Now however, the places are switched and GT5 will have to wait.
In the past 3-5 weeks I have gotten F1 2010, NBA 2K10, guitar hero:warriors something, dj:hero, medal of honor and some others. Problem with that is that as soon as the new game comes out, the previous one gets put in a box and there is no more enjoyment out of it.
I'm going to maximize my game enjoyment and I'm really sorry for those who can't seem to understand that. My decision has nothing to do with being angry with PD/SONY, it's simply what I think will work best for me and my situation.
