Anyone who is on the site should still be getting this.
exactly what I was going to say

I think at this point, the expectations are so high for GT5 that it can't possibly live up to them. I think when reviews come out, they might take into account the dev cycle and the budget of the game, and that will work against it. Also, releasing it after mid November is just a very bad idea. Look at the line up. You have COD, Assasin's creed, NFS all coming out around that time. GT5 is very big, but it can't touch the afformentioned games simply because of how relevant they are to this generation of gaming. I dont know why the game was delayed, but if it was to fix minor bugs, it would have been best to release it and patch it. Get the game out there, get your sales up, and then continue working on the game.
Not bigger then NFS... are you insane? releasing at the end of the month would actually be a better move then on the second.
GT is not bigger than NFS. NFS has all the glamour to it that casual gamers love. Also, it is twice as big and much older than GT.
older yes... no NFS game this gen has sold more then GT5P. The best selling NFS game wasn't even close to GT3 the best selling GT game. You are way wrong on this one.
wrong. shift has sold 4 million copies alone (albeit on all platforms combined ) while GT5P has sold around 2.5 mil. Also, NFS as a series has sold 100 mil copies.
Biggest NFS game this gen NFS shift= 3.75 both systems
only gt game this gen= GTP= 3.89 one system
biggest NFS game ever NFS underground 2= about 9 million spread across gamecube,xbox,ps2
biggest GT game GT3 = 14.89m on one console... I think that is a good indication which is bigger

I guess our measure of success is different.
And then start cross-referencing* who constantly complained here and then later posted that they 1) need help with something or 2) are looking to race online and want to meet up.can't wait to look back at it after the game finally does hit shelves.
The lowest selling mainline GT game is GT2 and that sold nearly 10m.
I get that you're pissed at the delay, and I'll be honest, I am a bit, too. The difference between myself and a lot of other people in this thread (and many others) is they are pendulums. When things are going good and we're getting updates and screenshots, they're all happy campers. We get a little hiccup like a(nother) changed release date and all of a sudden it's "🤬 PD!" All I'd like to see is a bit of common sense (see pic below) and understanding that all the complaining in the world isn't going to change a single thing and at the end of the day IT'S A GAME. Contrary to popular belief, it's not the end of the world.

If I'm not surprised a game I have been waiting for has been delayed again, then I am still getting it.
Thats why I suggest we wait a week or two before purchasing the game.
Wow, I really do not understand why you would not buy a game just because you have to wait a little longer than you thought you would have to. I'm not buying this game because I think PD deserves it; I'm buying it because I like cars. Sounds to me like people are just having little tissy fits.
