Who isn't going to get Gran Turismo 5 now?

I tend to agree that if you are on this site you are playing it as soon as you can. The only exclusion is people who want to upgrade their TV or a periphial first. They might wait till they have their setup.

I didn't vote but I will not get the game on day 1. For me it's simple, I didn't pre-order BLACK OPS because GT5 was coming out first. I would wait and pick up black ops a couple of months later because ONLINE would still be pretty much alive til may/june 2011. Now however, the places are switched and GT5 will have to wait.
In the past 3-5 weeks I have gotten F1 2010, NBA 2K10, guitar hero:warriors something, dj:hero, medal of honor and some others. Problem with that is that as soon as the new game comes out, the previous one gets put in a box and there is no more enjoyment out of it.
I'm going to maximize my game enjoyment and I'm really sorry for those who can't seem to understand that. My decision has nothing to do with being angry with PD/SONY, it's simply what I think will work best for me and my situation.

I understand you situation as you can only play one game at a time.
There are probably more exceptions who wouldn't buy GT5 or buy it later because of the delay.

Personally I'm not really a gamer, but more a racer and only play Gran turismo. My g25 and cockpit are ready for GT5, collecting dust for almost 2 years.

That's exactly why I made this thread. Some people said that they weren't going to bother getting this game now it's delayed. I wanted to know why would they be in the GT5 section of a GT fansite if they weren't getting this game.

GTPlanet has progressed far beyond the realms of Gran Turismo. I can name atleast a dozen long-term members who probably haven't even played GT5 or don't even own a PS3. There are probably many, many more I'm simply not aware of.

There is much, much more to these forums than the GT5 pages.

Well it COULD be like this...

Maybe you got to sit home everyday from now on untill at least christmas (because of injury) and was planning to get TD2, GT5 and WRC2010. TDU2 got pushed back, GT5 got pushed back and WRC2010 wasnt really that good.

Maybe your girlfriends outta town and doctor wont allow me to party or to drive my cars. Got no energy for public transportation so what can you do...

Maybe you got two cars that costs a fortune every month plus a apartment so you wont have loads of money to spend on every game you want right ahead.

Thats why i MAYBE need get something else to fill the gap between now and christmas. And since a 360 + Forza costs a little bit of money i wont get GT5 untill im either finished with it or when i simply can afford it (Priority).

It seems odd to me that people here in these forums can sometimes be pretty narrowminded. Cant take jokes, cant really try see things from other perspectives than their own. Some is trying to play Forumcops etc etc.
Pretty sad.

I am a fan, so yea I will get it. Hopefully this year-if not, then I will get it whenever it drops. The delay doesn't worry me...theres plenty of games to keep me entertained between now and then
