Im just gonna say this here (bit biased). Who has played, watched or read reviews of F1 2010? Conclusion, a decent game if it wasn't so buggy. So GT5.... a game most of you waiting 5 years...... Comes out buggy, why? We didn't wait a month or two for it to get ironed out..... who wants that?

A real GT fan will get this game, no matter what. They can say otherwise at this moment, but the day that GT5 is released, they will go and get it.

Seeing as I've already preordered the CE, I will still get the game, when and if it ever comes out.

To me thats not the point.

Nobody likes to be continuously strung along, especially for the absolutely ridiculous time frame this game has taken.

I'm worn out from all these years of continuous duty cycling of hype and expectation, then, one of these days the game will release, they just don't know when. Now they know. Oops, now they don't.

This has been a complete debacle on the part of Sony, PD, Kaz, whoever.
Likewise, I don't believe they comprehend the toll in "illwill" and "distrust" that is being taken on their credibility. Maybe they don't care. Thats my opinion. I still believe most of the problem is due to Sony's decision to prioritize GT on PSP last year over GT5. That put a already behind GT5, in the vulnerable position that we are still enduring, as evidenced again today.


Any way you cut it now, the GT fan can't help but retain somewhere, in some capacity, the fact that he's been given the PT Barnum treatment;
"There's a sucker born every minute".
That being the case, no matter how good the game is, it isn't likely to wash that perception away very soon, if at all.

Yes, of course I'm still getting it. Kinda sucks (especially since I literally got my Driving Force GT wheel in the mail this morning), but whatever. I got other driving games to hold me over until then.

All this whining actually reminds me of when I frequented Smashboards (oh god the memories) back when Super Smash Bros Brawl was delayed a month before release. People just want the game now (understandably) and are venting frustration. I guarantee it'll all blow over when they finally get their hands on the game though.

I'm still getting it, regardless of how long it takes, not one person makes a game like Kaz, I have been a GT fan since day 1, driving that 3000 GT and the AE86 and all of the other specialties not found in any other game since day 1.

It'll all be out soon. We all giggled inside with the first 50c car wash, and the oil change how it boosted HP, now it looks like with the dirt stains car washes may actually be worth something.

Anyways, no other game does what GT does,The way it does it. And offers the "sim" in the title. A lot of people that are whining currently aren't vivid car fanatics of all natures like most of us GT fans are. They just want to hop in the Veyron, but Instead of looking at the 1000 things offered in GT, people are to worried about skid marks. Kaz added that, then people complained about other things. We finally got online, and a real drag track, and 70 courses and 1000 cars, I'm damn happy if I say so myself, I bought a PS3 from the beginning too expecting it to be out the first few months or so. I'm still not complaining.

Those of us that watched GT grow from GT2000, GT HD, to all the other stages with GT5P and how the new GT5 looks like a completely different game, I mean I can't even look at GT5P the same, Its like wow... no lingering smoke, no tiremarks, no rain, no damage, less realistic engine sounds, kaz changed all that from GT5P and people complain. Just be happy people, if it wasn't for Kaz we wouldn't ever enjoy our GT experience for as long as we do. I mean most of us are still playing Prologue, even tho GT5 has advanced so far over prologue that its not even the same game anymore, and I'm proud that its went that far.
