So you like it easy a quick?
LOLI don't know what that is.
I'm aware of the mythical concept of "not abusing the power limiter so much that it makes your car slower," thanks.
👍
yes lol!!i think he meant "wannabe."
Some people have had the game for quite a while, and have played through the game already, like myself. Beyond that, it's a way around the endless grinding PD forces you to go through to earn credits and cars in GT.
Has it ever crossed your mind that some people don't have $500-$1000 to build a gaming computer to play PC sims? Not to mention a wheel if they don't already have one. I used to play PC sims, rFactor, GTR2, iRacing, the lot. My computer became outdated and I haven't had the funds to build a new gaming computer. I'm sure there are a lot of people in the same boat.
I've also built mods for GTR2 and rFactor, and there is a huge amount of learning involved that unless you know someone who is willing to spend the time showing you the ropes is next to impossible to learn on your own. It's not as easy as typing a few words on a forum as you have so eagerly done. The only wrong turn in this tread is the wrong turn your thought process took.
PD has been ruining their reputation since GT5 launched. Taking this away from the community is just another notch in their belt.
I see a "banned" next to your screen name in the near future. Keep it up 👍
+1Yep , I know what your saying , as this exact thing happened to me. I raced Rfactor and Iracing untill I just couldnt afford to upgrade anymore , so went PS3 racing. Thinking that ps3 is a piece of hardware running software that puts everyone on par. Ive known people to find 1.5 secs a lap purely from a PC upgrade. So , what are you doing ? looking for that advantage anywhere you can get it ? or just stuffing with cars for fun ? Either way it is not a welcomed activity from the game designers , case closed. I think everyone here should think themselves lucky that we have a game designer willing to work on the product and keep it fair for all. Many ps3 games have been thrown to the hackers with no-one taking any care or responsibilty (BO2). Kudos to PD for standing by their product and providing us all with an ongoing service. Not just taking our money and letting the game go to the dogs...
yes lol!!
@Arora
I just stated he like it quick and easy. He clearly said the same thing. He would rather click here or there to get what he wants. Hence "Quick and Easy" It's not that hard to understand.

I think I've made it pretty clear I don't do it to cheat. I don't need to cheat, I'm pretty quick. Barely missed GT academy and I was one of the people that didn't use the BS skid recovery or whatever it was. I mod for fun and creation. I don't know what's so hard to understand about that.
I will give you that we are privileged to have updates this far into the life cycle. However, a lot of updates aren't very substantial and cause new problems. Take the update that changed the PP system, it was quickly reverted. PD also promised updates every two months when the game first launched. We all saw how that turned out.
It's hard to understand why you care, that is my point. Maybe you don't care but then why bring it up?
I've seen plenty of people on this board that can't stand it if the game is played a different way then what they feel is the 'right' way.
The main issue with this argument is you acting as if your poll with a sample size of 3 hundred-thousanths of a percent of GT5's sales is a notably more valid one in terms of something to base an argument around than his poll (covering an entirely different topic, honestly) with a sample size of 8 millionths of a percent. And a similar thing (though with drastically different numbers) would occur in any community you ask on the issue; because more people hybrid and/or have an opinion about it than join forums and vote about hybriding.
Yes I did, and I added some of my thoughts. Though this comment doesn't answer the question. "What is the right way to play?"I have no idea why you addressed me with that tl;dr post. Did you read the convo unfold?

A true fan of GT. I also have other accounts for GT5, though I haven't gone as far as you on the others.Call it what you want. But i have done GT5 100% legit (A-Spec) even the 24 hour endurance races each in one day with a stock LMP car.
Also have done this on seven different PSN accounts. So cheater I am not. I am just goofing off on my latest profile.
And like I have said before I am on my 8th account doing the same thing

There is no 'right' way, I didn't think my post was so hard to understand. I already know this silly game of words you guys like to play lol.
If you want my opinion on what the update did, I'll say PD can do whatever they want with their servers. If you want my opinion on what people do in a game that does not effect me , I don't care what they do but some of you do.

True but this is more so to open source PC simulators. And lately you can't find a open source PC simulator because they are handing out cash prizes. And if you are found cheat in those sims for cash you will go to jail. My question to you is "How does a open source PC sim pertain to the PS3 and GT5?"
This Convo could go on forever. The point is you are not going to get an answer on the right way to play and arora never had one in mind. The right way to play is personal choice but one thing for sure , its obviuolsy within the parameters of the game ( as released and patched by PD)
There is no 'right' way
One thing I noticed. Not 100% that it's 2.12 but it has to have been recent but, now if you run a bspec in the X2011(not for sure if the X2010 does it to) your driver will try to Pit on every lap which get's rather annoying on a 30 lap race.

Doesn't everyone?![]()
oink83That wasn't my original point at all. I was commenting on the fact that people are talking about having to grind for credits and or xp when in fact they are in so much abundance, they end up being effectively worthless.
I think the answer to that is personal preference. For me, the enjoyment and satisfaction of a game comes when I have had to actually play/think/put time into a game to receive its rewards. Using cheats to just open the game up without having to have done anything yourself, for me, takes out alot of the fun. Maybe some people prefer the easy way through?
