This. Road and Track's Need for Speed.

There were like 6 cars plus a hidden one. First game I ever played with a cockpit view, and if you held down+select, it would disable the HUD. After a couple of months, I also bought a Mad Catz (lol) wheel.

PS1: Formula One (the original - "you're not wrong there Murray"), Tomb Raider (this blew my socks off), the original V-Rally soon after (weird physics but fun!)

PS2: Can't remember for sure but I think Tekken Tag, Tomb Raider Angel of Darkness (not the greatest TR game but not as awful as it's made out to be), Smugglers Run...guess wasn't long til i got GT3

PS3: Only got my PS3 a month ago and hit eBay with GBP50.00 and managed to snag GTAIV, Uncharted, Resistance, DIRT, Motorstorm, Little Big Planet, Elder Scrolls Oblivion. So mostly oldish games but new to me and total bargains. Only played DIRT and Resistance so far, but also a lot of demos from the store and Ferrari: The Race Experience (which I like a lot)

I owned the Mad Catz wheel as well. It might have been my first wheel ever.

Wow, i had that game it was my 2nd ever ps game though. Me and my friends would just roam around for hours doing stunts and stuff, was good fun!

My first PS game was Spiderman for the PS2, i hated it because the only video game i ever played before that was NFS high stakes for the PC, and looking at the screen while not looking at the controller was caused a major improvment in hand/eye coordnation.

Ridge Racer. Saw the PSX while visiting Japan before it was released in the West. Brought one back to the States with me. My second visit to Japan coincided with the release of Gran Turismo. Obviously I brought that one back with me, too!

Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. Awesome game then, still awesome today. Probably beat it 3 times, and have a 4th run through going. First PS game I ever played was FF VII.

My first Playstation game was Gran Turismo. My first PS2 game was Gran Turismo 3 and my first Playstation 3 game was Gran Turismo 5 Prologue.
