The more I think about it, the more Forza 6 seems like the game P CARS should have been. It won’t have nearly as many tracks, but the track list is nice, and Forza 6 seems like a proper sequel to F4. I guess I’ll futz around in 4 for a while to see if it’s still got some appeal, but regardless, the drought between GT6 and 7 is probably going to be too long to wait another year for That Game to show up.

Still… $800-plus just to get The ONE!, a proper wheel, GT6 Special Edition and a year of LIVE! Have to ponder this for a while…

I’ve been wondering about getting an Xbone, but the price just to play another racing game still sounds wrong to me.

  2. JerseyDriverSS

AMC Rebel machine. Not that i wasn’t sold already, but that is worth the price of admission right there. At least to me.

Definitely grabbing this game. As for the Formula E, if they all have the same PI I’ll just grab one and paint job it.

450 Cars… I hope they allow as much local paint jobs as the player wants… that’d be golden.

Oh and I’m gonna love these night rain races. It’s gonna be awesome.

…I hope PD’s got something up their sleeves, Gran Turismo is a series I grew to be a hardcore fanboy before the expert seasonal arrived in GT5.

…yeah I’m not very skillful, so please don’t pick on me.

More and more, I’m tempted to cross over and bite the XBone bullet… Formula E isn’t the tipping point, but more and more PD & GT falls behind it’s rivals.

Oh yeah, if FM ever gets a Grand Prix anywhere from ’97-’03, I will spend however much on the best wheel, tv, x1 and a hat.

I hope the Formula-e cars will come to GT aswel.. Hopefully in ‘base-model’ version aswel as the official liveries :) Kinda wondering the PD is going to do with it’s FIA deal thingy.. Formula-e would be a nice start :D

Kudos to T10 for grabbing the Formula E but I have serious doubts about how high they are on the average fan’s wishlist. The other 30 cars though are quite an eclectic list..well done.

    1. nocturnalgrey

That is exactly what I think. Personally speaking, I will only touch those if I have to in the career.

    2. Tenacious D

Other than a few cars, the rest are from previous Forzas. They’re just catching up with themselves. But Forza does have a nice list of cars, some passed over by other games.

    3. Johnnypenso

Some of us consider cars remodelled as full next gen premiums as new cars, me included. Don’t care what was in the old games on the old systems. A whole new level of graphics and physics to explore = whole new car to me.

  7. Whodoyouthink

Hahahahaha the Lamborghini Jalpa! Really have never heard of ANYONE wanting that in a racing game. I hope whoever actually tries it finds some fun in it….because it was quite the awful Lambo! The poorman’s Countach.

  8. MightyJordan

Does Turn 10 have exclusivity on the Formula E cars? I’m still holding out hope that they turn up in a game that isn’t exclusive to consoles.

    1. SavageEvil

Doubt that as Codemasters are doing an F1 game so I doubt that Formula E is exclusive at all. Not sure how epic those cars are considering they are so silent, they might as well build those things out to look like something futuristic and not F1 cars with engines on silent mode al la Knight Rider. GT has a few monster electric cars already, hope the P1, La Ferraria and others make it to GT7.

  9. FS7

It’s good that Turn10 is including the Formula E, it would be even better if Turn10 included the street circuits used in the Formula E championship as well as fuel/tyre wear and pitstops where we have to change cars.

PD. Take note. Improve career mode and improve the variety in the car list. We only have 2 real Open Wheel cars.

    1. SavageEvil

Looks like that means money as in F1 license to use current cars or else we are relegated to out of date cars and fantasy F1 like the FGT. Not sure why people always crowing about these cars, Project Cars has them and there are dedicated games for them and those games don’t sell as well, wonder why?

    2. nocturnalgrey

Like the “real” next to the open wheel racers in GT matters to more than a select few. Most of those who purchased GT over the years probably don’t even care whether they are “real” or not…

    3. jake2013guy

I didn’t ever say that my word was law. What I meant was I wanted more real open wheel race cars. Project CARS has a Formula Ford car and the Formula Gulf. I would like some variety like the DW12, F312 GP2/11 and the GP3/13. That would offer some variety and more recent F1 cars wouldn’t hurt that.

    4. Johnnypenso

Considering the size of the car lineups between the two games, PCars put GT to shame with open wheelers. 125cc Shifter Karts>250cc Shifter Karts>Formula Ford>>Formula Gulf>Formula C>Formula B>Formula A (2013 F1 specs)+ Lotus 49, 72D, 78, 98T. You’ve got full progression in open wheel from karts to F1 and historic open wheel covered from 1967 to 1986, the first 3 being World Championship winning cars.

    1. brntguy

Creepy? Really? I give lots of candy out to the school children outa mine and don’t think it’s creepy at all!
