GT Sport Daily Races: In With The New (And a Little Bit of Old)

Gran Turismo Sport 716 July 1, 2019 by

If you’re in the mood for trying something new, this week’s Daily Races will be music to your ears.

As is often the case after a game update, the Daily Races are cherry-picking from the new content to give some interesting combinations. This starts right at Race A, where you’ll be racing the recently added Goodwood Circuit in the even-newer Clio V6. The race provides the car for you, so there’s no scope for trying out your liveries, but you can nonetheless live out your own Goodwood Members Meeting.

Race C provides an entirely new combination too, but it should still be a little familiar. You’ll take your own Red Bull X2019 — just the 3m credits — to the new Sardegna Road Track. That should ring a few bells because it’s the race that decided the Nations Cup at the Nurburgring World Tour event a couple of weekends back. This race is a little shorter, at 13 laps, and you’ll have a grid start with false start check rather than the World Tour’s new tighter rolling start, but otherwise you’ll get the chance to compare yourself to the game’s top drivers with this combo.

There’s still a little space for tradition though. Race B lets you run a very familiar race, at Suzuka Circuit in Gr.3 race cars. Just grab your favorite Gr.3 — the Audi R8 LMS ’15 seems to be a hot choice right now — and smash out four laps of Japan’s famous Grand Prix track.

All three races will run through to Monday, July 8.
