GT Sport Daily Races: Flying South for the Winter

As the Northern Hemisphere winter starts to bite with the solstice close behind, GT Sport heads to warmer places for the Daily Races this week.

Germany is first up on the schedule, with some of last week’s new content to enjoy too. You’ll be taking the first generation Volkswagen Golf GTI around the Nurburgring’s Grand Prix circuits. It’s a specially provided vehicle, so just pick your color and race.

Race C heads to California, and the new WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca circuit. It’s a 14-lap race, so you’ll need something quick to get those laps in, and indeed you’ll get to choose your preferred Gr.3 race car. Tire wear and fuel consumption are again set at 7x and 3x respectively, and all cars will use racing hard tires, so strategy is unlikely to affect matters. We foresee SR falling quicker than the road does through the Corkscrew.

Stuck in the middle is the furthest south circuit of them all: Mount Panorama. You can pick any of the Gr.4 cars from your garage for this three-lap race in Australian sunshine.

All three races will run through to Monday, December 30, when another new set of three will replace them.
