This Week’s Project CARS 2 Community Event Puts Japan in the Spotlight

This week’s Project CARS 2 Community Event Takes us to Japan for a run on its fictional Suzuka clone Sakitto. Running from January 1–8, players will be driving the drifty Toyota GT86 Rocket Bunny Edition.

Fitting into the Road C car class, this week’s time trial is a bit different to those before it. Slightly Mad Studios has mostly focused on its race car offerings in recent weeks, so the Toyota offers a nice change of pace. Inspired by the west section of the real Suzuka circuit, Sakitto National is the perfect place to throw around the GT86.

Regulations for the latest Community Event are fairly standard and follow the pattern of those before it. There are no notable weather conditions to take into consideration, with only light clouds sitting above the track. Tuning experts are able to create their own car setups, with no fixed car settings in place.

So far, each of the top 10 times all use a custom setup, so if you want to place high this might be a requirement. Unlike last week, there’s no big prize on the line.

Times so far are hovering just under 1:15 so get out there and put in your best time. The event ends next week, on January 8.
