Playground Games has officially revealed the first expansion for Forza Horizon 5, confirming a return to the celebrated Hot Wheels franchise following a leak on the game’s Steam page earlier this week.
The first official expansion for Forza Horizon 5, Hot Wheels, looks to have been leaked by a Steam page update for the game, ahead of its expected announcement in the upcoming Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase.
It’s fair to say we pretty much love Hot Wheels Unleashed. It’s less than a month since Milestone gave us a first look at Hot Wheels Unleashed, an arcade racer based on the immensely popular model cars, but already we have a second video of the game in action.
Milestone has revealed it’s developing a game based on that famous toy line from Mattel, Hot Wheels. The brands have worked together to create Hot Wheels Unleashed, which looks like it could be the dream toybox of cars we all wish we had as kids.
Earlier in February we learned by way of what seemed to be leaked screenshots that Forza Horizon 4 could soon receive a squadron of Hot Wheels cars in a future update. The official Forza social media channels have now confirmed that this will be the case, courtesy of teaser screenshots for today’s Forza Monthly broadcast.
