It’s been weeks since we last heard a tasty PlayStation 5 rumor. Weeks! To remedy this, the rumor mill is suggesting Sony will use the new system to debut a new tier to its PlayStation Plus subscription service.

A “team of programmers from Sony Computer Entertainment Europe” are reportedly on the Isle of Man, studying the famous TT Race circuit which stretches over 37.73 miles across public roads on the island.

In a discussion on gaming forum NeoGAF about upcoming PlayStation 4 title DriveClub, a user “known to work for” Sony Computer Entertainment (according to DualShockers and PlayStation Underground) has hinted at the existence of GT7 Prologue.

At the massive Gran Turismo 6 launch event, it was first announced that the BMW M4 Coupe – one of the highest-profile vehicles launching in 2014 – would be coming to the game “shortly after launch”.

While helping out with the Polish GT Academy 2012 finals, Lucas Ordoñez made an interesting comment about Gran Turismo 6’s development, which he’s reportedly involved in.

A Gran Turismo game has been released for every single piece of PlayStation-branded hardware to date, with the notable exception of Sony’s latest hand-held device, the PlayStation Vita. That may be about to change.
