Gran Turismo PSP – 800 Cars, 35 Tracks, October 1
June 2nd, 2009 by JordanPolyphony Digital’s president, Kazunori Yamauchi, just announced Gran Turismo PSP at Sony’s E3 2009 Press Conference. This “little” game is going to pack quite a punch, including 800 cars and 35 tracks! It’s also going to let you trade and exchange cars with each other, which Kazunori warned will probably be the only way to acquire them all. Up to 4 people can also race head-to-head via the PSP’s ad-hoc connectivity.
One of the most exciting things we noticed -- a Ferrari Enzo was visible in the short preview video shown at the show. It’s only logical, then, that the ultimate Ferrari super car will be coming to GT5. Stay tuned for higher-res pictures and videos!

Where is the E3 GT5 trailer? Why can’t they even give us just a little bit of news? They are really pissing off a lot of fans here. I know they want to draw sales of the new hardware but c’mon guys you’re going to lose a lot of loyalty if you keep pulling these stunts.

I have great patience but they are pushing it now. I know its just a game but we have Prologue with over a year now and we still have no news. Any news would be good but no news at this stage is plain annoying now. I will be buying Forza 3 though and hope it will do me intil GT5 is released in 2020.

What I don’t get is… 800 cars on PSP. Didn’t Amar’s cryptic post say 600 in GT5? Why more cars in my pocket than on my big screen?

It may have something to do with damage licensing, G-Ram. Just speculation, but that may be why we saw the Enzo in the trailer here, but didn’t see it in the GT5 trailer.
