well, eventhough it must have delayed gt5 a little, I must say that I’m enjoying the gtpsp at the moment. Can use that to fill the time before gt5 releases.

@Wolgib07 i agree PD are doing all they can with so many projects at once…

fair play to em i’ll play tourist trophy and gt5p until GT5 and gt mobile to get a head start on GT5 in cars cuz it said if you unlock em in gt mobile you get em in GT5..

Finally start the game with a range of cars to choose from and not an old used car for 10 000 credits or 100 000 credits if you transfered gt3 and gt4 prologue data.. this will make it good fun from the start off rather than only being able to do the sunday cup and one type of drive train..

KAZ WE WANT NIGHT AND DAY AND WEATHER NOT JUST TSKUBA WET RACE OR SS5 WET RACE LIKE IN PREVIOUS VERSIONS PLEASE

when driving at sunset would you need shades on LOL

1 day left for gran turismo psp. Really i think PD waists their time with gran turismo psp. From everything i heard from kaz is that they sold gt 4 in 2004 and started doing gt 5 for ps2 until 2007 when they waisted 1 year adopting gt 5 for ps3. And in 2008 they started doing gt 5 for ps3. Gt 5 prologue was the point at which PD was at that point with gt5 for ps3. They done a lot of work it one year and don’t worry about how much time does it take to built one car, because even when it takes one person two months to built one car it takes 2 people to built one car in a month. So for example: in PD 100 people work on cars so they built 100 cars in two months.
They started to do gt psp in december of 2008 and the only thing they done was to put gt 4 in a psp and add 78 cars + a cockpit view for all 800 cars. Also some online.
From December 2008 until May 2009 they were adapting gt4 to psp then in one month they put 500 cars in gt psp and 30 tracks (on e3 there weren’t all the 800 cars nor tracks). In July they were making online, in August they were making “cockpit” view, if it posible to call it like that. And in September they were doing final touches and eliminating gliches. And now on 30th of september the game is comming on planes, trains, boats with psp go to our stores.
Gt 5 is big daddy which PD is doing nearly for 2 years. And they done a lot of work knowing that they are also working on gt psp. They really started in 2007 and came out with gt hd with cool everything from gt 4 but in hd. Kaz wanted to do also gt hd classic with 700 cars and 50 tracks, but he didn’t do it, because he saw that really cool games are coming out like forza 2 and pgr 4 with better graphics than in gt 4. So he started to do a new graphics engine and came out with gt 5 prologue to really just show his grafics engine (not really to show of the cockpit view or 16 cars on track). Then after gt5 prologue came out PD done some DLCs for gt5 pologue like spec II or spec III. Also working on gt5, Aferwards he improved even more graphics engine (in December) and improved online features (he already had his 800 cars, but not 950+). In first months of 2009 PD was working even more on cars, tracks, tuning, etc… In June at E3 Kaz said that gt 5 is ready and can come out whenever they wanted to and that was thue until they decided to put damage in their game, and in August also lamborghinis and buggaties.
So now we are at the point when PD is improving damage models and online. Meanwhile gt psp is comming out tomorow.

IF THE WHOLE WORLD WANTS BETTER DAMAGE OR DAY/NIGHT CYCLES AND WEATHER CHANGES, WE NEED TO SHOUT AT KAZ EVERYDAY TO GET SOMETHING, SO HE WILL UNDERSTAND THAT DAMAGE OR WEATHER, DAY/NIGHT CYCLES ARE NOT JUST A REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, SMALL PARTS OF THE GAME.

OK sony i’ll bow to your marketing strategy this once and buy a PSP GO…. off to buy one tmrrw..
Just because you won’t bring out gt5 soon and i need something to do till march..
i don’t own a psp already so backwards compatibility doesn’t matter to me with the PSPGO not having a umd drive so what…memory cards are smaller any way..
i just hope it will have tv out to show videos to other people through the new connector..

AND most important i want to play gt mobile when i get it and not take a week to get the download i read somewhere it may take a week to get the redeem code to you!!

Happy with prologue for now as i have a g25 wheel, homemade stand with corbeau seat and it’s so much fun can’t wait till GT5 FINALLY COMES OUT!!!!!
GT5prologue is better than super car challenge in my opinion..i bought that the other week and went back to GT5p cuz it felt more realistic in physics and control was more real…

ps if you want to play your mates in GT5prologue just ring em when your both on same event in online menu and both press X to start when they hang up this…

this works 90% of the time…
    only connect to host failed..
and if theres too many people in that event does it not work sometimes…
hope this helps you race your mates online for now till GT5…. peace out.

Does anyone stop to think that if GT for PSP has all the cars from GT4, that also means the used cars? Since there is no “map” and no used car lots, stuffing them all into the dealerships would be absolutely unmanageable. THAT is why they went with the random cars from random manufacturers at random times that people seem to be “confused” over. Really think about what it would be like to have to scroll through almost a hundred cars just from a single manufacturer like Honda. That would drain the PSP like crazy. That’s why they limit the cars available for sale at a given time.

    It’s the final countdown.

    Here in Taiwan,

    One more day.

Don’t know if it would be “Delayed”.

I bought a PSP for this reason, THREE YEARS AGO. After waiting for so long with no news and crappy games i got rid of my PSP. Ill stick to my iphone for my mobile gaming fix until GT5 comes out.

  8. viejaloca

Even if KY didn’t make GT PSP, GT5 wouldn’t have been released much sooner. STOP COMPLAINING. Game developers have different teams if they’re working on more than 1 game.

  9. Andeh

    Americans pronounce Turismo, Tur-ees-mo? Heh

Also, this is an exact copy of an old Flight Simulator advert, same set up etc.

  10. PERUDRIFTKING

I CAN´T WAIT ANY MORE FOR GT5. WHAT THE HELL IT´S THINKING YAMAUCHI.

SOME BODY KNOW WHO IS THE DRIVER AT ZR1? THE CO-DRIVER IS TUNNER FOUST.

  11. TOLL-Scibba-HRT

Anyone else think that the text in the ad looks like WordArt?

…And yeah, you can clearly tell that PD don’t really want to show you the game… But we can expect that, it’s a PSP game, all PSP games look like crap.

I reckon this should be the ZR1 ad, not the GT PSP ad, lol.
