GT PSP Gameplay Shows Citroen GT, TVR Speed 12

Here’s one of the better-looking videos of Gran Turismo PSP gameplay footage via IGN, showing the Citroen GT competing against the infamous TVR Speed 12 at Suzuka.  Unsurprisingly, as with most journalists who demonstrate racing games, his skills leave much to be desired…

Ok i dont think this looks like gtP on a hand held.. that’s taking the good graphics a bit too far. It looks better than gt4 but not as good as gt HD, somewhere in between, which is awesome for a hand held console. But still awaiting news on the true gran turismo 5…(all shops are saying the 4th December which is kinda odd)

And did anyone else notice the lack of anything appearing when he went on the grass? (i.e grass cloud or w.e) I guess that isnt such a big deal but yeah thought id point it out

Yeah there is a clock there? ^_^

It’s either the greatest addition ever or it’s just the time of the real world haha.

Hey jabofu, did you get a look at what Lamborghini’s and Ferrari’s and any other notable cars were in GT Mobile? I want to get an idea of what GT5 is going to have.

This is the reason why we have have to wait for GT5 even longer :/

I played it at GamesCom and it was shit. Okay, for PSP its not bad, but still shit and useless.

Can people stop mentioning how awful journalists and editors are at playing GT? Not every one of them hole up with $150 cockpits and $200 steering wheels and play for months. GT is a hard game to just pick up and play, and if you’re doing it on a small handheld like the PSP, it makes things even more difficult.

Oh and enjoy your thumb cramps after playing an endurance race for 3 hours on the PSP analog stick. That’ll be wonderful :/

With all that said, GT PSP is looking more promising than ever. I think they took the necessary cuts (4 cars on the track, etc) to really squeeze out what they can, and they’ve done an amazing job. Most impressive, and groundbreaking for the PSP handheld itself

come christmas, when everyone is doing there “thingy of the year” lists – we should really have a “shit journalist driver”, i think that would be a lot of fun

rofl. he’s terrible at driving. Who uses the D-Pad for racing games? XD
I’ll stick the analog stick and cockpit cam.

When people drive “behind the car” like that, what do you expect? All you do is spend your time correcting over and under steer…

    ^.^ What I reallly want is a s15 silvia (200sx) Spec R,
simply because I have one sitting in my garage and I love it.

Sweet! But bad game driving ^_^

Hey guys, I noticed this video is showing a dynamic racing line. Did the GT5 demo at GC have it or was it never-changing?

I for one don’t miss the speed 12. As far as exotics go, I’d rather see the Zenvo. Speed 12, forget it. I’d take the GT by Citroen over it ANY day.

Hopefully weather in gt5 i know its dificult to do but at least for wrc rally tracks bescause of the limeted cars they can do snow fog and rain

    Oooh, what is this?

This game is turning out to be really REALLY impressive.

    About GT5 then…

INTERIOR VIEWS FOR ALL CARS :)
