Don’t think this design works, except from above. It has some nice lines, but the front & rear design looks like a half hearted attempt to create something striking, but has ended up with a lazy & uninspiring appearance that doesn’t compliment the rest of the car. For some reason the designers look like they’ve taken cues from Lamborghini & Gumpert???

The Merc VGT still stands heads above the rest in the VGT series. *sigh*as a GTR lover…This one could have & should have been so much better looking.

I don’t know if anyone else has mentioned it, but that rear end and side profile reminds me of a Koenigsegg..
    I don’t know, strange.

This car looks absolutely stunning and different to anything out there, I love it. As usual the numpties find something to complain about, unbelievable…..

Damn right it’s beautiful. Real or not, I’ll enjoy driving it all the way down. Good thing I always prefer playing using Chase cam, this way I don’t worry about the car having an interior or not.

I wish the fog was that dense on the Nur when I’m driving. That rear end just clicked, it’s the R390 look alike. This video makes me want to drive this thing, I have a feeling that it’s going to be pretty overwhelming as a concept car. I hope this continues and automakers use GT for vehicle reveals and first drives and PD needs to stop giving us cars that you can’t tune, that bloody M4 needs to be tuneable, it’s not a concept it’s a retail car now.

The first 27 photos are not from GT6(the insanely shiny brake discs give it away), they are from Nissan so that Airport runway isn’t coming to GT6. In fact you can see an interior of in some of the renders, but as soon as you land on any photo from GT6(GT6 cars all have the same generic rubber sidewalls) it gets super dark in there and you can see a well lit helmet but nothing else in there. No interior, unless they feel like tossing one in prebuilt for PD to use so we can appease those who want something to look at while in cockpit view. Preferably something futuristic borrowing from the current GT-R.

Extremely dark tint on the windows at the live reveal at Goodwood too.
I’ve seen plenty of photos of it there, but not one with a window down.
Not looking promising at this stage.

Confirmed, interior is from the 1970 GTR complete with mahogany steering wheel and cigarette lighter, lol. They still have not finalized the interior, I wish they would update with interiors for the other cars, from the manufacturer. I want to see some people lose their minds if this happens.

Beauty is only skin deep. Ugly is to the bone. But what the hell. If it’s fast and smooth I can learn to love it. The front of this thing could make a train take a dirt road.

Ya know It’s growing on me. The look is radical and impractical but it’s nice. I hope a production car is better porportioned and subdued. It is a 2020 car though so who knows how much design language they’ll keep.

I dont know if this has been discussed already, but this car reminds me alot of the teaser trailer for GT Academy 2013. In the trailer, It showed 5 different cars on Silverstone being passed by a GT Academy car and I think the 3rd car was unknown, but had striking similarities to a GTR by the tail lights, but the body was very different. Now that I see this, It looks almost like the same car.

Here’s hoping we get an interior to this one. Oh, and while they’re at it, let’s put interiors into the rest of the ones that have already been released. And make sure the rest of them have interiors too.

Has anyone ever heard what reason they don’t have interiors? Does Jordan have any insight on this one?

    1. JohnScoonsBeard

Some do have interiors, the Mercedes-Benz VGT had one designed by Mercedes-Benz. Why it isn’t in the GT6 version, we simply don’t know. It’s certainly disappointing for many that some of the in game VGT’s haven’t got interiors. Maybe the interiors are still being worked on. Maybe not.

    2. Jordan

Yes. If the car manufacturers don’t spend time designing an interior up to the specifications required to model the interior in the game, there’s nothing Polyphony Digital can do about that. It’s up to each manufacturer to decide how far they want to take their design.

The one thing that confuses me a bit is that this car is clearly ready, but it’s being held til July. That said, it’s probably the manufacturers discretion to attack it with their own marketing strategy.

    1. TokoTurismo

I think it does it does, there was a picture someone found of it having one. However we can’t be sure of it. :\

  9. wvmgmidget

It’s ok. I love the back end of the car! But the front is kind of dull and the sides are impractical for both aerodynamic and driver/passenger entry. Hopefully there is an interior.

  10. HuskyGT

Still not feeling the front end, but at least it’s functional. the car looks good overall. It’s a shame it won’t have interior and it will probably have some generic engine.

    1. HuskyGT

Nowhere. But we can be positively and absolutely sure that this car won’t have it. The VW was just a forced exception due to its lack of roof.

  11. Humungus

Wow PD is so awesome cuz they are going to implement my favorite car of all time, a fantasy Nissan with crappy sounds in GT6. And the best thing is it doesn’t even have an interior!!!!!!!!
PD best game developer evarrrr woooooooooooooooo!
    #fakeenthusiasm

    1. ScotteDawg

Ya know, I haven’t read anywhere where it says there won’t be an interior!
As for the sounds, PD has been providing us with better sounds for all the new cars that are being added to the game…
So take your immature little hashtag and your fakeenthusism and shove them squarely up your fundamental orifice!!!

    2. MeanElf

I don’t think the TS030 sounds ‘really’ bad. I mean, Sega Rally sounded really, really bad, so it’s more a matter of perspective.

A useful tip is to be careful of using such absolute word choices, because you’ll be stuck for what to call something you discover later that is in your opinion, worse.

  12. SZRT Ice

There’s hope! It’s possibly paintable! Looks loads better with some color! Now, about those rims…

    1. OriginalCheezIt

Who are you, and what have you done with the real TOKO?!

Honestly, it’s kinda nice havin’ ya back on the hype train.

      Choo choo mother******

    2. TokoTurismo

When did I say that? In the fourms? Yes I did say it was ugly (and still believe it is ugly btw), but it’s been growing on me for awhile now. I actually like it, but NOT the back of it. ;)

    1. ScotteDawg

Sure, looks great in red, but I think I’d prefer a carbon texture for it like with the Pagani Hyura…

    2. ScotteDawg

Better yet, I’d like to have the option to paint it and have a massive racing stripe down the guts similar to the one on the Ferrari FXX, and be able to choose what colour stripe I want!
Example – Carbon with Black stripe, Taiga Metallic (green) with Gold Chrome stripe, Red with Gold Chrome, Red with White, Red with In-Violet, Black with Indy Yellow… you get the idea!

And what Nissan should do is provide at least 6 alternate sets of rims for it that we can paint, as well as allowing us to paint the rims it comes with!
