Loved the Tajima event, my best is still 57.788 which topped the leaderboards on Thursday. You need to feather the handbrake and accelerate to enter a torque induced powerslide going round the hairpins.

Super Lap = Seasonal Event. Seems legit… Can’t wait for real seasonals to return (feels like petition time).

As a seasonal event lover…and a veteran of GT5…a fancied my self to get into the top 1000th in GT6 as apposed to the 1500 mark i regularly achieved in GT5..

result ..getting there! but as far as the none tuning events…a can’t get 2500th…I guess there are more better drivers but don’t tune….so i say give it ago with my 1% opinion.
I think your missing out in whats great about the GT series.

I want to see who gets gold without SRF in the Eiger seasonal with the Tajima’s car…
    I did 1:00.968

  5. super_gt

Seasonal Events with RUF BTR and LOTUS EVORA stock at nordschleife will be nice!no SRF of course!!!!!!!!!!!!

  6. Gino Caberlin

They should put real racing races with tyre wear and fuel consumption, instead of these useless contests.

  7. m8h3r

Gran Turismo 5 gets a world Circuit Tour, with 5 races around 5 of the best tracks in the world. Gran Turismo 6 gets 1 lap time trials. Tempted to play out the last few days of Gran Turismo 5 rather than this.

I don’t understand people argueing for GT5 over GT6. I seriously saw a guy on the GT Facebook page commenting saying how if PD was smart they would keep GT5 online and admire DLC’s. In what world does that make sense???

    2. MeanElf

And m8h3r – those are seasonal races, these are seasonal time trials. We used to get those in GT5 too.

  8. Ferrari458Italia

Really miss this game. I haven’t played it since christmas break cuz I left my ps3 at home :/

  9. Gwenbors

Wooh! That e-Runner lap is a hair-puller! That was a little more tense and a little more fun than usual!

  10. TokoTurismo

Booooring. It’ll be better if PD just lend you the cars instead us having to tune them to match the events PPs PD lists. :\

    1. Broda

totally agree. I love seeing how i can compare and not have to spend valuable money tuning cars (poorly)

    2. Kavey

Totally disagree – tuning is a key part of the game and having TT’s that you can use tuned cars in is a great way to learn how to make the most of a vehicle at a given PP and on a given track.

    3. moxlox

I agree with Kavey. Best to have a mixture of standard spec timed events and tuned time events. Tuning cars has been fundamental to the series since Gran Turismo 1.

    4. SnakeOfBacon

Equal amounts of tune-it-yourself and loaned car TT’s per fortnight would be great, 90% of people don’t really know what the perfect suspension and LSD settings for an RX-7 on SSR5 are (I’ll need Praiano’s help with that one :P)

    5. GTP_DeathStar

Without tuning this game would only be one step up from NFS…and we all know how much that game sucks.

    6. biftizmo

snakeof” just announcing a percentage in the 99’s to agree with your self does not help you,,,
suggestion! type “your car”GT6 tune into google and see the amount of 1%’ers ..tunes to help..the old way in gt5 was to borrow a friends tuned Car…hope that feature comes back..or even better more tune saves than A,B,C, we could just share them ..PD we Want it Now.
Tip some of the best tune tips are on this very fan site.

    7. DYLAN777-is-not

I just wish the tuning was fairer. I dont enjoy tuning anymore, its too time consuming and not always worthwhile. Some people know how and some dont and some dont have the time or the interest. Thats why pd should have an in game tune marketplace. The mechanics benefit by making millions off good tunes and racers benefit by having good handling cars. Plus if there was livery editing you could put the mechanics logo as a mandatory sponsor for using their tune so the mechanics get the respect.

    8. Johnnypenso

World class tunes are often posted in the Seasonal Forum by some of the top racers. No need to reinvent the wheel.
