The latest Seasonal Events are now available in Gran Turismo 6, featuring three new time trial events exclusive to the Renault Sport Clio R.S., Mazda Eunos Roadster/MX-5/Miata, and the Tesla Roadster.
Events are contested with no more than 420PP with Comfort/Soft compounds or less for the Sport Clio Super Lap challenge, 410PP with Comfort/Soft compounds or less for the Miata Super Lap challenge, and 477PP with Sports/Hard compounds or less for the Tesla Roadster Super Lap challenge. Racers are to aim for the gold award in this week’s challenges as they’ll be richly rewarded.

Screw you superlap!
I do like the seasonal event time trials but when are they going to have the next stock car time trial. The current seasonal events require tuning the car. Tuning a car in gt6 is nothing like you tune a car in real life so it makes the time trials pointless.
I don’t mean to be rude, but I can’t help wondering. The way these races are programed, on Gran Turismo 6. Is that how the programers, or whoever designed the races on GT6, is this the way they drive. If so there must be some serious road rage, wherever they are from. Its probably so bad they don’t even notice it, ha, ha. For example, say your taking the family out for dinner, and your just around the corner from the restaurant, when some non-driving fool decides to put you and yours, into the wall. Bummer, can’t hit the restart. That’s kind of how it is in most of these races. After you fight your way through the cars trying to block you, and it looks like you might have a chance. Some burr head, purposely crashes into you. If it was accidental, I can live with that. But, purposely, race, after race, after race, time and time again. Its frustrating. OK, I’m done whining. Sorry, I had to vent. Sincerely; WFO. P.S. Don’t let them programers drive.
Really enjoyable seasonals! Just hope they add races into the seasonals soon!
wheels spin is a semi-arcade!tesla roadster on 40%wet spining the tires moving straight with straight wheel tires scrolled and nothing happen!last year to le mans one prototype spin off of Mulsanne straight on wet!
Great seasonal’s really enjoyed the last ones ..willow springs was a blast even though i didn’t like it at first…very technical track…with that Car …really looking forward to these new ones…
hope they bring back sharing and gifting soon…i miss it..and please PD is there any way we can share tunes as well…that would be just fab….Thanks PD for GT5 i didn’t wanna stop playing it but here’s to GT6 i’m sure it will be just as good…as long as we don’t lose any features…due to people moaning on here as usual…don’t listen to em they don’t know what there on about..some of us love everything your doing..thanks dudes..

Agreed, the tracks seem well suited to the cars chosen, that is if you enjoy the challenge. Currently shaving hundredths off my times with the Clio. I never really rated Brands Hatch in a game before, not until now. PD have done it proud.
The Clio is an quality little car. I have one at 500pp and its pretty sick.
who is the bright spark at PD who chooses these combos? with 100 layouts why are we doing time trials on tracks that have already done? where are the drift trials? oh that’s right 18 months after the wiggle drifters took over gt5 they still get away with it ! and all PD has to do is limit the drivetrain to FR but they cant even do that! I wouldn`t even trust these blokes to put butter on my toast they will some how mange to screw it up
Actually really enjoyed these, the cars were really fun to drive this go around. Spent most of time in the telsa drifting rather than hot lapping, and that clio was surprisingly awesome.

I know, but sometimes you can’t tell, like with the plymouth last time, I didn’t even know there was green on it. It’s easier to tell on a car.

Again SRF is optional and there is no separate leader boards in time trials.

Dont be dopey this is a website for fans made by the biggest one so there is no link between PD and this website but nothing can stop them coming to the biggest gran turismo fansite
They probably do read the comments and think ‘what a bunch of ungrateful b******s’. Everytime they try, people want more or just shoot them down. I’m surprised they still want to make games after reading most of the comments on this site.
^^First of all, they aren’t trying at all. Anyone with an ounce of imagination can come up with better events than these.
Second, I don’t think you realize GTPlanet doesn’t represent all GT6 sales.
I wasn’t talking about the events. I’m talking about the people moaning about not getting new tracks and cars. PD have probably read the comments, I mean the onlys dissing the company, Kaz and not enough content. I just enjoy playing the damn game. I don’t care if the sounds aint perfect or dials dont work. I use bumper cam so most of all I want a damn good driving feel to the game.
People moaning about no livery editor, yes I would love it but its not essential. Instead of adding new cars, just upgrading a couple more cars to premium would be enough for me to be happy, but again its not essential.
Just enjoy it now so when a PS4 version comes out we can appreciate the things that they can’t fit or make work on the PS3’s complex design. Kaz said the PS4 is much easier to program games for from tge PS3 so we should get the experience we’ve been wanting.
It’s all about what each of the vocal minority want, and damn the rest. I don’t think they can comprehend that the game is built around a wider base than what they in particular might want.

Ohh goody, more boring cars with crappy tires on repeat tracks. Surprised Willow Springs isn’t in there again. Kills me. Game is full of so many great racecars but they’re never used. This is why the game desperately needs a full permanent LB system….because PD are just as bad at picking TT combos as they are at communicating when features will be released.
There are plenty of people who enjoy racing a wide variety of cars in this game, not just race cars – they all have to be catered for, not just those who think that stripes make them faster…

PD is starting to lose touch with their customer base. Most of us are asking for actual races in the Seasonals, but instead we keep on getting Time Trials every other week. What about the off weeks? Wouldn’t that be the perfect time to throw in some races? If this keeps up, I’m thinking that a lot of gamers will slowly stop playing GT after time passes and when GT7 (prologue?) comes out for PS4, many gamers will think of GT as a distant memory and miss it when it is released because PD let many of us move on to other games and leave GT behind. One would think that PD would do everything possible to keep us playing and keeping the game, AND US, updated is one of the best ways to do it. If I get converted to another game after too much time passes after GT loses it’s luster, I will only buy a new GT after it goes on sale; I’m sure PD would want to prevent people from doing that, but they seem to be forcing us to do that in the future.
This is what happens, complacency sets in.

They treat GT-5 better than GT-6. Something smells funny here. Low payouts that can only be won once, having to invest in tunes to get gold meaning even lower payouts, can anyone say microtransactions. I hope GT Nation is standing strong and avoiding them.
That’s why we have to use this low-budget-cars, so we get at least the epic loot of 100k and a colour *-* Can’t wait till end of March >.< *Sarcasm off xD

When will we final get some endurance trials? Like 10 laps and we have to make 1 pit stop. When every seasonal is a Super Lap, none if them are Super Laps and the term means nothing. Super Laps and Endurance Trials, that’s what we need.

Redbull-Challenge-X2014-Standard brings 200k-300k in 3-5mins, its a long way for the 2million+-cars but not for these low-budget-cars, to make it easier and more funny, change the tyres, put tcs off, mute the engine-sound and insert your own music, that’s how I farm xD

Still no a-spec seasonal events? Come on, pd. You already had it in gt5, why not put it in gt6? Seasonal a-spec events was one of the best parts of gt5. My patience is wearing so thin with this game.
Was hoping they might be olding Zahara for the seasonals… Last TTs were funner, these are 3 slower more boring cars. Doing 3 TT seasonals, they should have one for slower cars on comfort tires, middle class cars on sports tires, and faster car on race tires… I feel like PD is shying away from the frequent update thing…
One does wonder how they choose these. Do they just roll dice for what they put out each time?
I guess they just have a list of Career prize cars and go with whatever they haven’t used yet, this will have to change soon though when they run out of choices.
