Aston Martin Expansion Now Available in Project CARS

The Aston Martin Expansion Pack for Project CARS is now available as a part of Slighty Mad Studios’ “On Demand” efforts to continually keep the game feeling new with fresh monthly content, and this month’s content delivers handsomely by introducing three new Aston Martin racing machines: the Le Mans-winning 1959 DBR1, the V12-powered DBR1-2 LMP1 prototype, and finally the Vantage V8 GTE.

In addition to this is a brand-new location, Mojave, with six layouts:

  • Boa Ascent
  • Cougar Ridge
  • Coyote Noose
  • Gila Crest
  • Mojave Test Track
  • Sidewinder

As expected, this month’s offerings don’t end there as there are three new invitational events added to the game’s extensive single-player campaign as well 10 new community-created liveries:

Finally, the expansion is rounded out by this month’s free car, the 1952 Mercedes-Benz 300SL (W194), Mercedes-Benz’s first Grand Prix entry after World War II. The W194 would go on to pull off impressive victories at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Mexico’s Carrera Panamerica, and the Eifelrenne at the Nürburgring to name a few, and was driven by the likes of Stirling Moss and Juan Manuel Fangio.

The Aston Martin Expansion is now available across all platforms for $5.49 USD, and remember to stop by our Project CARS forum for more discussion, in-depth analysis and more!

All really great cars. The DBR1/300 is wonderful. I had a very enjoyable online single make race around Snetterton with it in the rain.

The Mojave tracks that can be raced (6?) could do with the option to practice or qualify (+ pit area). As it is we can only race.

It’s a thrill to be able to drive cars driven by some real racing legends like Moss and Fangio. Really like these old and new style packs.

There’s a typo. It should be “Ginetta G55 GT4 – NX Oil livery”, not “GT5”. The GT5 Ginetta is the G40.
