Instead of performing nerve pinches throughout the Australian Outback, you’ll venture onto a more logical path as you’re tasked with getting behind the wheel of the Aston Martin Vulcan. The Aston track car is one of seven new rides set to be included in this month’s car pack offerings, if a recent leak is to be believed.

Next week, Ford of Australia will produce its very last car. The Broadmeadows assembly plant will cap off a 57-year production run of over 4.5 million sedans, wagons, utes and crossovers on October 7. Only two days ago, the Geelong facility — Australia’s oldest of its kind — wrapped up engine production after 91 years.

Today, console and PC players alike can rejoice: Early Access to Forza Horizon 3 is here, bringing the entirety of this year’s open-world epic to those opting for the digital Ultimate Edition 4 days ahead of its official street date. For those without such a privilege your journey begins on September 27th when the game officially hits retail (and digital) shelves.

Forza Horizon 3 officially launches in the Xbox One and Windows 10 ecosystems on September 27, but owners of the Ultimate Edition gain early access in a matter of hours depending on location. The Forza Horizon 3 demo has just gone live for Xbox One, weighing in at a little over 18GB. The celebrations aren’t over, as Xbox Canada is spending the next two weeks travelling across the country doing events inspired by what’s possible in Playground Games’ latest open-world racer.

The wait is nearly over, early access users have a mere 11 days left on the clock until the entirety of this year’s open world epic is available to them. For those without such a privilege, instead opting for the retail release, the wait is furthered an additional 4 days.

When the off-track, open-world racer known as Forza Horizon was introduced to the gaming world in 2012, it was clear that the atmosphere of the Motorsport spinoff was just as much about the music as it was about car culture.

The worldwide release of Forza Horizon 3 is weeks away, but those looking to venture into Playground Games’ rendition of the Australian Outback may not need to wait much longer.
