Comedic Car Horns up for Grabs in Inaugural FH3 Forzathon Event

Determined D class vehicles, like TokoTurismo‘s Cooper S, are first up in Forzathon debut.

Just days after a collection of downloadable content was ushered into to the wonderfully wild world of Forza Horizon 3, the newfangled Forzathon opens up an opportunity for gamers to unlock even more content through an assortment of activities.

First talked about by Playground Games’ Ralph Fulton at Gamescom in August, Forzathon is promised to be a series of weekly challenges with in-game prizes not accessible by other means.

For the feature’s first go, three unique items can be obtained: the Steam Boat Horn, the Comedy Whistle Horn, and the Train Horn. Those who complete each objective, which includes a handful of bouts in the popular game mode ‘Infected’, will also receive a D class car discount.

It is worth noting that anybody looking to check off this set of Forzathon tasks needs to act quickly. Having launched at 6 p.m. PDT on October 6, a short-winded countdown is prominently displayed on the game’s interface, limiting the amount of time these challenges will be open.

Not motivated by car horns? The future of Forzathon has more promising prizes in store.

Along with reporting Fulton’s Gamescom commentary, Polygon mentioned the Nissan Silvia S14 as a prize scheduled for an October 14 Forzathon event. Later in August, Turn 10 Studios confirmed Halo’s M12S Warthog CST could also be earned sometime in October.

To access Forzathon, pause the game during free roam and navigate to the ‘Social’ tab.
