Black Friday has only just begun, but we’ve been keeping track of the deals since last week. One area that seems to be lacking — especially compared to last year — is sim racing hardware like wheels and seats. Fanatec has stepped up to offer a discount on a small selection of its wares, and depending on region, it could save keen racers almost 50% compared to retail.
Up first is the Porsche 918 steering wheel for the ClubSport or CSL Elite Wheel base. This serious bit of kit is an almost exact replica of the wheel found in Porsche’s six-figure hybrid hypercar, which could add a whole new dimension to lapping the digital rendition around either Assetto Corsa or Forza Motorsport 6. Since the game is not available there, the pack is discounted slightly more to compensate:
