^ AJR has already entered 2 GTC cars for the full ALMS schedule.

Tracy Krohn is said to be leaving Grand Am.

Level 5 has expressed interest in an ALMS entry as well.

Gainsco has allegedly canceled their hotel reservations at Homestead & I've read that the Rolex could have been their last GA race.

As much as I want the ALMS field to grow, I don't want it to happen at the cost of GA getting smaller or even going away. That is a lot of talent to take form the series. Why would Gainsco leave the series after all the success they had?

No idea, but thats startling to hear that suddenly. Didn't even seem like there were any indications that they were done for this year. Also, I wouldn't worry about AJR as they were already in the Patron GT3 challenge and Level 5 since at the moment, its the only Grand-Am team showing interest. I don't have much care about Tracy Krohn as I don't have much respect for anyone in the oil business, but I hate the fact that the only Lola tema in the field might be going away.

No idea why Gainsco would leave as they haven't announced anything yet. But word is that Alex Gurney is talking to Rahal Letterman about doing Indy.

Well now, that seems fishy given his family name. Maybe its just me, but I think thats all it really is, just a rumor based on someone's fantasy to see him go Indy racing just because his father did it (like many 2nd drivers).

Tracy Krohn's departure may have something to do with this lawsuit: http://www.nybusinessdivorce.com/tags/lola-cars-v-krohn-racing/

I do hope that means a Krohn GT2 Ferrari as a 2nd Risi entry at the ALMS. :)

Despite the fact that I read that, I still don't get it  Guess I have to be a business man to understand it. Again, I don't care about Tracy Krohn since he's an oil man, but I hate to see them go as they are the only Lola team in the series and they (along with the Dallara team of Suntrust WTR) actually are able to take to the mostly Riley Dominated field.
