Dude! Holy crap that was an awesome onboard from Bowyer! Last time a car flipped and with barely any damage as a result was Robert Presley in the '97 or '98 Daytona 500.

Honestly that's wrong to freeze the field like that. Essentially it means that Waltrip, who fails to finish, makes the 500.

They only freeze your spot if you still cross the finish line, maintaining caution speed. My guess is that Waltrip was the last car on the lead lap, after everyone else finished. Cars a lap down can't pass him on the final lap. Or, the results are wrong, as they aren't yet official.
