@Masscot
Can youi tell me exactly what doesn't work on the LaFerrari Aperta on your side?
As you can see from this picture, the instruments work just for me.

There you go, ferrari_laferrari_aperta\data\digital_instruments.ini
FONT=599_big
FONT=599_mid

download font 599
Just copy the font into content\fonts folder
Click to expand...

Well, I had these fonts but this is the dash I get to see: (just to be sure I replaced the fonts by the ones you attached, but same result)

And there is something weird with the cars' shadow, on track as well as in showroom:

Guys, what is wrong about the pure black color on the skins in AC ? ...I see it flickering under certain circumstances and certain angles on the replays...

Just rebuilding the skins for the Formula 79 and noticed that "glitch" on some logos on the liveries ... is it my graphic card, or AC has some unknown rule, to me, about the pure black color ?
- (not using the "map.dds" at the moment) ...could that be the reason ?

@Masscot @Fanapryde
I've found out the isse is related to the car itself, when I go to fix the glass transparency.
In fact it messes up the "pro tyres" app as well. The "original" kn5 file shows up the green tires. But if I modify just the glass transparency with 3DsimEd, boom, instruments are gone.

Mmm.. how weird! Any ideas how to fix it?

@Masscot
I've converted the kn5 into fbx to load the car in ksEditor. the instruments are broken. I'v also converted the int_decals_fxxk_d.dds into DXT5, but nothing so far. We need a more skilled modder to find out a solution. I will try also loading the fbx into 3DS Max to see what happens.
Do you need the original kn5? In case, you didn't save it, the WeTransfer link still works.

It's not something daft like the glass on the instrument cluster is the same as the windscreen, and it's filtering out the instrument graphics?
I know some mods use windscreen glass for the dash instruments, and when it rains on the windscreen it also rains on the instrument glass, lol.
Just brainstorming why changing the windscreen should bork the instruments...
It's a puzzler!

hidden dashboard

The modder imported the whole texture...
Also the .dds file with the dashboard instruments is called INT_Decals_FXXK_D.dds, so I can imagine he imported it from that car.

Whoah! Spooky. I remember him saying this was his first mod.

@Masscot I try to see if I can copy/paste the original LaFerrari COCKPIT_LR with 3DSimEd.

No, it can't be done without 3DS Max, deleting the poligons. But in this case the work would be ugly compared to what the modder did.
I would stay with the glass transparent on the back for now.. :D

UPDATE:
Copied with 3DSimEd from Ferrari FXXK, the COCKPIT_HR object and imported the .dds from the LaFerrari_aperta original texture folder.
IT WORKS! :cheers:

Unfortunately, the downside is that at night, the instruments are not illuminated.
upload_2019-2-12_3-38-48.png

But when I try to illuminate the instruments with KsEditor, using the KsEmissive 5 5 5, the instruments are illuminated but the numbers (font) are gone.
upload_2019-2-12_4-39-50.png

KsEditor makes the font to disappear, but has the 3 channels of KsEmissive working
upload_2019-2-12_5-56-19.png

3DSimEd doesn't have those 3 channels and whatever value I use, nothing happens, but the font works.

If any of you, modder, have an idea, please help...:gtpflag:

Looking for assistance. I’ve downloaded SOL and now most of my tracks have become winter themed yet I haven’t downloaded any winter pack? Any help to get it back to normal?

Disable "use seasonal adjustments" in weatherFX settings or choose a summer date directly (set specific date).

I can't find that option on mine. What version of Shader Patch do you have?

Oh, we just met ! ^^

Seriously, I’ve done NOTHING on it !
The only thing easy to made is modifying the fuel consumption. ;-)

This car is available since a while ago, I appreciate the Goup C era BUT,... It seemed a "reworked time" in this thread, I just suggested some problems to resolve on these approximative conversion.

It’s not an obligation for some talents here to do it.

Cheers. ;-)

Been looking for that Supra for ever with no luck. The MkIV Supra is one of my guilty pleasures. There's a tuning shop just around the corner and some ass-crazy 1000+bhp monsters patrol up and down occasionally.

I tried the Egoista Concept earlier and it's like being in a fighter jet cockpit in VR. Good fun.

Anyone know how to disable the Halo by default on the ACFL Formula E? Halos suck in VR.
I'm guessing it's something to do with this in 'data/setup':

[WING_5]
SHOW_CLICKS=0
TAB=HALO
NAME=HALO
MIN=0
MAX=1
STEP=1
POS_X=0.5
POS_Y=2
HELP=

...or am I barking up the wrong tree?

Edit: not a bad little 205 mod here: https://mega.nz/?fbclid=IwAR34GAphX...S!bublQsZUrLaa_Ko9ftD7XM808YcNkg4riH-QX7O4E6c

Has anyone ever encountered a problem with stracker not adding the sectors into Live Timing? Got 2 AC servers with the same track but one gets the S1,S2,S3 and the other doesn't show them. Just Gap to 1st.

Not so nice without wing.. but there you go! :D
https://we.tl/t-F9bJv0jx2V

Edited with 3DSimED, deleting the rear wing.
It shouldn't have side effect this car ehehe the instruments are lit at night ...

UPDATE:
If you like a wing.. I've added the Peugeot 205 Maxi wing.
upload_2019-2-12_21-45-57.png

Higher rear wing

What do you prefer?

i got the windows transparent, but it removed the wheels completely, will have maybe try figure out a other way.

Just select the glass in CM Showroom and set ksambient to zero. Do this for internal and external faces. The windows are still tinted, but not orange piss-filter style. I'm not sure how to lighten the glass. Anyone know?

Peugeot 205 T16 EVO2 new rear wings, smaller.
https://we.tl/t-LWDV6ZXBB6

One is at the same height of the Peugeot 205 Maxi, and the other one is on top of the roof, just like you can see in the pictures few posts above.

That fighter plane HUD target in the Egoista is bloody annoying in VR, lol. Any way of turning it off?
